Had a good day overall. Ran 5 miles. Calorie goal: 1500-1800. The Triscuits and cheese snacks are totally worth the calories but the rice pilaf was not... I'm still working on NOT eating food that isn't good/good for me; it doesn't matter if it's on my plate: I don't have to eat it! :-)

Oh Monday (lol). Protein was great yesterday, but I was a bad girl and didn't have my veggies. Today it's veggie pizza bites for lunch and cheesy cauliflower with dinner.

Yesterday's damage:

B: Kashi Go Lean Cinnamon Coffee Cake Protein Bar

S: 1/4 Kashi Oatmeal Walnut Protein Bar

L: 3.25oz lightly breaded skinless chicken breast, baked.

S: Apple butter protein bar

D: 3.5oz. lightly breaded skinless chicken breast, baked. (My family gave me all these leftovers!)

S: Kashi Go Lean Cinnamon Coffee Cake Protein Bar.

Onward to a new (and very rainy!) day. Hope you are all well!

Certainly your protein is over the top...balance is good, and I'm glad today you are getting your veggies. Its hard to do isn't it?

I got in too late last night to post. But had a similar day to what I posted for today.  I worked in the inpatient Hospice house last night and tonight, so it keeps me busy all shift.  had good exercise Monday and got in around 970 ish calories. Too upset emotionally to eat alot of stuff more, had 1.5 hours kung fu. Ate what I could.
Looks like your day was good too. No black outs right?

Nope. I feel very good and haven't gained either (thankfully). I think that keeping it 1500-1800 is good. I just can't let it creep up to 2000 or higher!

You work Hospice? I so admire you for that! My father-in-law had hospice care and the people were sooooooo wonderful. Amazing!

 Thanks Amy!

Yes, Hospice nurse for 4+ years.  I am an evening runner from 5p to 1am, like the hospice ER nurse. Never know where I'll be or what problem I'll need to help with.  I am glad that Hospice was a comfort to your family, it truly is an amazing organization!!

You are right...its easy to slip to 2000, or to eat the wrong stuff!  I probably should be eating more calories with my exercise, but I seem to gain when I eat more than 1000-1200.
