X-post...scale weirdness
I have upped my calorie intake over the past several weeks. I consistently get 1200 calories daily now. And some days (like at least 2 per week), I get between 1300 and 1400 ****asionally a whopping 1500). The scale has remained consistently the same. No gain, no loss. This past weekend, for one day, I ate poorly...I mean, in addition to getting in everything I am supposed to get in, I had baked goods that had way too much sugar and fat...and I was oh so very, very sick on Sunday morning after breakfast as a result. And I had blood sugar and light-headedness/blood pressure issues all day long yesterday afterwards. Today, the scale is down to my lowest. I lost over 1.5 lbs. this past week. This happens every time I significantly stray off course (it's happened a handful of times in the past year). It really baffles me.
Yep,I know what you mean~I've had that happen a few times too. I do think its good to change things up sometimes. I know I'm a very routine person, I eat alot of the same things every day and they say you need to give a little shock to your system sometimes to wake things back up! I strayed off my plan yesterday too~had breakfast at Perkins and I LOVE their pancakes, LOL. Well, eating those morning carbs put me into a feeding frenzy~ackkkk, not good! But today I'm back on track on eating properly. I didn't weigh today so I don't know what effect it had on my weight, but I don't think falling off the wagon every once in awhile is a bad thing~as long as you can get back on the wagon pretty quickly!!!!
