Hi

I'm a newbie and I wanted to see how many of you have been successful at 3,5,7 or more years now with your RNY?

So many questions... Not enough time...

Thnx

I'm good at 3 years out.  I've also had all my reconstructive surgery done.  Now the really hard part of keeping it off comes.

I'm good at 3 years out too. Have to stick to protein, fruit and vegetables. My life had to change and I kept it that way. If you go back on sugar and bad habits, you will gain! Stick to the basics!

I am over 5 years out with no complications and no troubles.  I have been lucky and have also not needed any reconstructive surgery at this time. (Ask me about it in a few years though ha ha)
I should have done this about 3 years before I did!   Couldn't be happier.

I'm 3 years out also and have maintained my weight within a 6 lb range.  No complications and I'd do it again.

You are doing it right by asking questions and learning everything you can right now.

Good luck,

I am 7 yrs out and had no complications.  I am the healthiest I have ever been and maintaining the weight loss.  You do have to work at it, make the right choices.
Good Luck!
