Happy Tuesday! Its raining here! Did ok with foods, just not too hungry today, but did do my kung fu thing and worked o ut hard! Son passed drivers test, horray! Husband is grumpy - not horray!!

Spent today teaching CPR & First Aid ~ good classes so it was actually fun for the first time. I'm not so stressed out teaching anymore. I love it. I actually talked about my RYN at one point. Had 3 people come up to me at the break asking about it because loved ones were looking into it but didn't know where to go for help. I gave out my card with # & this website. Made me feel good for once.
Still struggling with the morning eating but I'm holding steady between 118 - 121.

S: Lipton White Tea w/ Papya 2 Brachs cinnamon candies
L: pink salmon cup w/ tbsp rf mayo & relish on 1/2 low carb flat bread and 12 soya crisps
S: atikins advantage chocolate peanut butter bar and med. dunkin donuts iced coffee w/ skim
D: 4oz chicken breast, 1tbsp salsa, slice rf sargento cheddar adn 1tbsp sour cream
S: frozen fage w/ raspberry davinci syrup & 1tbsp cheesecake pudding mix topped w/ whip topping & nuts
That puts me at 989 calories for the day ~ I don't know what else to have or when??? Oh well my protein is at 86g

good for you for sharing and helping others!!
yes...we do like certain weights...but don't get discouraged if your body goes up a bit and settles in a little higher.
I would like to see you getting more whey protein in through the day. You had no breakfast, try a p rotein drink there with your vitamins. maybe another one instead of atkins bar. I'm such a protein advocate, you probably get sick of hearing about it!!

I was super busy today and had to eat on the run... That's always hard for me. I usually pack my breakfast, lunch, and snack. I also didn't get to go to the gym today. :-( But it's on the calendar--in ink--for tomorrow!
Hey Tami, sorry I haven't posted work has been busy and emotionally draining. I haven't done so well this week. I've been gone from home since Sunday, and have made choices that are not my norm. Didn't totally flop but it isn't what I need or want either.
I've been on a pitty party today.....I just get exhausted with work, family and trying to reminder everything I need to do for my health. Do you ever just want to say forget it and not have to worry, or is my mind really messed up lately?

Yup I've felt that way. Usually when I'm tired, and when I haven't done much "self care". Meaning that I haven't taken time to fill my own tank spiritually, physically, and doing whatever is deemed fun and relaxing for me. When I'm burning both ends of the candle.
Just glad to have you back Dana, and start again tomorrow. You've come a long way and you have stayed the course. But you can't lose you in the process of life...make sense?
sometimes I just have a day when I really don't do much but sit in my jammies and watch law and order. because life and job and family can drain every inch of your being....then we have nothing left and we shrivel up.
So tell me, what nice t hing are you going to do for yourself??

Morning, all.
Just another boring day in the neighborhood. Doing tons of laundry, dusting, etc.. hubby's allergy test came back very quickly and strongly to dust mites a week back.. so now I have to wash most everything (including comforters and pillows) multiple times a week. It's very annoying. Buy stock in Tide as I'm doing an average of 4 loads a day! Good thing I found it on sale a few weeks back and stocked up!
Daniel's teething seems to have gotten better.. but still no tooth. I'm patiently waiting for one any day now.

grilled chicken fillet w/ buffalo wing sauce

Good morning everyone! Yesterday evening was one of those nights I spend furiously cooking so I have meals for the next couple days (so I don't eat junk!). It was a success at least. I made protein cookies and pizza bites. On to the damage:
B: Ka**** grain hot cereal
L: 5 Veggie pizza bites (On eggface's blog. I just put extra veggies in mine because I don't like pepperoni)
S: Blueberry oat bar (also on eggface's blog)
D: 3.75 oz bison burger (no bun) and a small ear of sweetcorn.
S: Blueberry oat bar and NSA fudgesicle
Calories were at 947 and protein was at 78--a good day for me.
