cross post - do you take your vitamins on an empty stomach?
What keeps me on target is that I am VERY AFRAID of having a regain. You just have to focus on one day at a time and try not to think about the fact of doing it for the rest of your life. I have good and bad, and struggle with not trying to beat myself up mentally. And I try to move my butt daily. That has never much been my strong point, so I'm REALLY trying to get focused back on it now. I drink 90-100oz of water a day and I think that is a HUGE help as well.
Hi Kim - I take them on an empty stomach first thing in the morning.
I take the ISOTONIX brand- you take a capfu- mix it with 2 oz water, you can add a cap of the calcium and you are DONE for the day. I am someone who had problems being compliant- because Ive had anemia prior to surgery.. at 22 mos- I was still struggling with smething missing- like low calcium- or B12, or hemoglobin, and I started taking these vitamins for a month..( Multitech with Iron) and we did the 12 blood vial panel- and much to my surprise- for the first time since surgery- I had nothing missing- everything across the board was is the higher end numbers.. my hemoglobin was in acceptable numbers..I was shocked.. so its all I take
The interesting thing is- ISOTONIX is 90% absorbed by your body- not like 45% with pills..and if this didnt make the difference for me- I wouldnt be telling anyone about it..so the key isnt liquid or pills- its about absorbency.. and the true key to vitamins- is NOT how you feel when you are taking them- but how low/tired/ crappy you feel without them- then U know you have found what works for you.. If you are interested in these vitamins let me know..I get them at cost.
Hugs, Donna
