good exercise, and the triscuits were not that bad....I use wheat thins because I can eat 14 and they are less calories and carbs, also those soy crisps.  But all in all you did not do too bad!

 nice, nice!

Now tell me, what is the fage stuff?  and Oikos?  is it tasty or is it that textured protein?

Is textured protein like , well there is a slice of american cheese, and there is a slice of american cheese food product.  Get the picture?

Fage and Oikos are both low-fat or non-fat Greek yogurt.  It is super high in protein and low in carbs.  For example, 1c of oikos is 130c, 22!g protein, 9g carbs, 0g fat.  1c of fage 0% == 120 cals, 20!g protein, 9g carbs, and 0g fat.

Greek yogurt tastes more sour than sweet.. and is generally unflavored.  I use a ton of splenda in mine and sometimes some SF preserves.

If you can get past the taste, you can't beat the stats!

Good morning! Better choices yesterday and I made a batch of eggface's blueberry oat bars. They smelled soooo good, but I managed to cut them up and put them away before grazing. I get to try one today for my afternoon snack...mmm. Anyway, on to yesterday's damage.

B: Kashi Hot Cereal

S: 1 cup protein cereal

L: 4 pizza bites (recipe on eggface's blog)

S: Kashi chocolate almond protein bar

D: 3.75 oz. filet mignon

S: graham cracker and NSA fudgesicle

Got my ice cream maker yesterday and stocked up on ingredients to make protein ice cream tonight. I'll post a trip report (lol) tomorrow.

nice job!  What do you figure your protein and cal intake was? Seems like you need to add some fruit and veges in there somewhere.  I am not a big vege eater, I did eat some green beans last night (forgot to add them), but usually they are not my favorite except if in a salad or something!

Let me know how the ice cream turns out. not sure if the taste and calories are worth the work!

Protein came out to 69 and cals were around 900 if I remember correctly. I'll check my fitday (I use the PC version) when I get home.

Yes, I realized after looking over yesterday that I needed some more veggies, so the boyfriend has been sent to the store for cauliflower. I like to braise it in tomato sauce and eat it like pasta or ma**** with cheese for something potato-like. I also have some zucchini in the fridge that are begging to be grilled. Yum!

Will do on the ice cream. The first batch is going to be strawberry cheesecake.
