Friday Menu (Wagoneers)

to my fellow wagoneers.........today, I fell out of the wagon.

I ate my very balanced breakfast and wasn't the least bit hungry.  Actually, I was anticipating my three hour mark to see if I would be hungry for lunch.  Lo and behold at 11:00, I got some pretzels.....and I ate them.  Not in my plan for today, not even enough protein to balance the carbs that are in the pretzels.  So....I am shaking the dust off my tail feathers and getting back in the wagon.  For lunch, I ate my balanced meal.......beans and chicken but I am going to be constantly vigilante about my "mindless" eating...those times when my mind says "eat, eat, eat".

Thank you for letting me vent.  Onward Ho!!

Definitely shake it off! Next time the pretzels are calling you, get 2 Tbsp of peanut butter and 8 oz of milk if the number of pretzels you eat are over 30g of carbs. Pretzels and PB is sooooo good! The good thing is you returned back to a balanced meal, so you really didn't fall of, you slipped a little (The Wagon hit a pothole... caught you daydreaming)

thanks for making me laugh!!!  I should have thought about the PB!  I was at a training class.  I might have to pick up some of those PB's that you can get at restaurants, you know the individual serving size ones!!

Ps.....did 35 minutes of yoga last night...it kicked my butt but I felt so much better.
