I'm almost done with my weight loss and figured that the place to get a great answer is the Grad board...I am trying to find the best support undergarments. I don't have a lot of excess skin but would love to hide what I have...I'm looking to suck in the tummy and lift my booty....any suggestions on brands??? Thanks :)

I've heard great things about Dr. Rey's. You can find them at Sears, Macy's, and I think HSN. I've also heard wonderful things about SPANX. I have tried them, but opted for their cheaper cousin, Assets that are available at Target. I think it depends on what you are looking for. I too, was a lightweight ... like you I don't have a lot of extra skin, but it's enough that it bothers me. The Assets seem to tame the jiggle and rolls that I sometimes see. I'm going to a wedding soon and I'm going to see about some of the Dr. Rey's stuff from sears that I understand is FANTASTIC. We'll see!

Good luck and congrats on your success.

Any good department store will have a variety of very affordable and effective undergarments.  Some help panties tuck in the tummy and slim thighs, tuck in tummy and smooth the waist or bras that extend down to smooth the waist or you can opt or a all in one suit (bra/panty combo with or without thigh coverage).  Look in several department stores (cheap ones like Mervyns or higher end ones like Dillards or Macys and you will suprised what is available.  No need to pay lots of bucks for these contraptions and they work well. Good lcuk.

Hi Cat -  I love my Maidenform - Control IT!  It is so comfortable and it snugs everything in really nicely.  I found it at Khols.   Good Luck on your search!

http://www.designveronique.com/ The site above is serious about their undergarments!  LOL  I used a binder (similar to their breast wrap around my mid section) and then eventaully the tummy flap I had just tightened and I dunno what ever I did with the binder????? But I wore it 23/7  Only took it off to shower. Loved that thing...I shrunk out of it!  LOL I want to try one of the body suits for a really sleek look in a tight fitting dress or something...but I'm just a regular jeans and teeshirts and flip flops kinda girl (tomboy) anyway...so everything pretty much hides well in denim...I haven't really had a need for a sleek party dress...but once a year and I always find something flattering without all the body armor!  LOL The prices seem a bit high...but they look quality...I got this site from a nurse wls person who swares by this stuff...

I had some Spanx that I bought to wear to my son's wedding (weight was approx. 340), and I got the biggest they had and couldn't get them on. I did put them on after I'd lost some weight and it smoothed some things out, but they're pretty hard to get on. There's actually a pee-hold in them, so that tells you they're hard to get on and off. For everyday smoothing and lifting, I'd try the Target brand.
