Vision problems after migraine
I'm almost 3 years post op, 23 male. I had migraines before surgery (in fact the morning of surger) and hadn't had one till last thursday. I had to go to the ER and stayed there 4 hours without feeling any better. THey gave me several different medicines, and finally put me on a morphine drip that didn't help. The headache went away Friday morning. My head doesn't hurt, but my vision is still blurred and I can't see worth a dern, even 5 days after. I've ordered some dry vitamin A. Any suggestions? Before, my vision would be back to normal a day or so later, but it's still screwed up and it's bothering me. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated as well as your after affects of migraines. Thanks
a friend of ours recently (over the last 5 months) began having increased headaches/migraines and vision problems. To the extent that whole portions of his field of vision would be gone for periods of time. He would even have trouble remembering how to do things, etc. He went to his doctor and after a battery of tests they concluded that his cholesterol and blood pressure were very high and causing the vision problems, and they put him on meds for that as well as the migraines and he has been doing a lot better. I don't know if that might be something for you to check into, but I hope you get better soon!
