"God is greater than any stress" You got that right...Sometimes it's hard to remember but it's true. Years ago I was reminded every single day because the stress was so great, ulcers abounded...Now when times are relatively good, it's hard to remember.  Hopefully the stress will either subside or you'll find a way around it.   Good numbers for you too. 10% and over 100 is what I shoot for...Sometimes I overshoot but most times, lately, I'm right on the money.

Had a blast at the cabin...(5 nights and 4 days) Got my 7 year post op guy friend and his wife to come out and visit for three nights...We had a blast boating...crabbing, beach combing, picking wild raspbetrries and blackberries, and swimming of course...Mosquitos were vicious!  Ate like WLS kings and queens. He's gained a bit of weight and thinks he stretched his pouch, but I don't think he did!  Gonna send him the 5 DPT!  LOL I actually lost my two extra pounds with all the activity cause it certainly wasn't for a lack of food!  Today I took it easy and tried to eat conservatively... B: Instant coffee, 2 oz protein powder and lactose free milk L: 2 oz ham, 1 slice swiss on a whole grain bun with mustard S:  Protein bar (Zone Perfect Dark Choclate and almonds) YUM! D: ~1/4 C brown rice (not my favorite and will never buy again once the box is gone)      ~3 oz roast beef strips with gravy and mushrooms,       ~1/2 C asparagus...sauteed in a spray of olive oil       ~1 C baby arugula salad mix w/tomatos and red onion         ~2T Ken Lite Vidalia Onion salad dressing S: 2T Jalapeno Hummus with 1/2 serving soy crisps Fat: 34.5    Carbs: 107.5     Protein 99.5    Fiber: 19     Calories 1190 Might have some ham and cheese  for another 120 calories and  14g more protein and 6g of fat It's late and I should go to bed, but I am genuinely hungry...haven't decided if I can fall asleep hungry!  LOL  Don't know if I want to!

"Mosquitos were vicious!" I hate those little buzzards... I'm hoping my vacation will be a blast too...They got the reunion T-shirts and it's an image of my great grandfather on his white faced horse..That man was GOD in my life... Your numbers are really good. Carbs and protein are nearly equal and the calories are LOW...You did awesome!

I am so excited for you!  We haven't had a family reunion in over a decade at my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. It was nice to see people I hadn't seen since I was a kid.  We were in Florida for ours and after the big party most went off on their own... Your renion is like a big old cowboy ho-down and out in some of the most gorgeous country!  (Makes me wish I was a part of your family just so I can come too!!!)  I'd bring  "Skin So Soft" by Avon The oil moisturizer smells so nice and the "squeeters" hate it!  I'd imagine them out in Montana must be the size of birds!   It's gonna be so much fun for your family! Can't wait to hear about it! Love the Teeshirt idea!  How awesome !!!  GG must look so magestic on that horse! I have a photo of my Roman GG on a horse so that REALLY hit home for me! I spent hours retouching the old photos that had faded...You should bring some old family photos to share with folks that may not have ever seen them...I did that over the Xmas holiday...and what a hit that was for my grandparents to see their old photos enhanced and on a big screen TV...(I put all the black and whites on DVD)  That was my xmas gift to them...What a job that was!   Was worth it!

Hi Dawn, I'm sure you are going to have a blast on vacation, it's always nice to get away.  I did well yesterday, work was super busy so no time to think about grazing.  Last night I really did want the kids chocolate chip cookies.  Instead grabbed some turkey deli meat and cheese then later peanut butter so I didn't eat the cookies. ly 7, 2008

Wow WOW. Those numbers are unbelievable! Carbs are nothing! Fat is NOTHING...Protein, off the chart for the calories you got. I'm really impressed...I'm copying down this list and going to keep it for future reference.  I'm hoping getting out of town is the ticket for me. My daughter will be watching the house. The stuff at work, well, that's someone else's problem. They had six months to prepare and they aren't ready. Too late, too bad, so sad, bye-bye. LOL>

Dawn, I was in awe to with the numbers, I actually had to look at it 3 times to be sure I didn't mess something up, lol.  I am going to try to copy this day for a while myself, I really feel good about yesterday.

Morning, all. Did a spinning class for the first time yesterday.. and I kept up!  I was so proud of myself for that.  I can feel it, but can still move today.. the only thing is that my butt is bruised from the super hard seat!  I'm hoping that adding a few spinning classes (not many held at times I'm at the gym anyway) will help shift up my routine a bit and shock my body a bit more. Looks like I'll be going for a BS in Nursing in the long run.  Spoke with the PA Dean and she told me to pick a BS that has a backup plan because it has taken a few people a couple of years to get in due to high census.  I liked nutrition, but I don't know if I really wanna be an RD.  At least with the BSN, I can either go MSN, or PA.  I've already started the process for fall admission to at least get the core corriculum out of the way (English, Math, blah...) 1c coffee w/ ff moo 1c oikos w/ fibersure and vive cereal 1/2 of a chicken and FF flatbread (very unappetizing) 1c oikos w/ fibersure and vive salmon fillet chocolate mocha protein icecream (didn't set up the way I wanted..) luna bar 1250 cals  24.44g fat  104.83g carbs  162.09g protein  23g fiber 5 min jogging, then decided to join 50 min spinning class 30 min upper body free weights
