Sadly, I'm having trouble navigating on the internet...My lovely son used our satellite access and exceeded our capacity so they FAPed us...I'm slow and sometimes can't get on at all until tomorrow at 5 am...THANKS WILL...I wanted to take a look at all the threads but it's taken 6 minutes to start this thread and will take another 6 to post it...sigh. Tomorrow is another day.  And I carbed out today.  Breakfast: oatmeal, 1/4 cup TVP, 1 cup soy milk and coffee Second breakfast: 2 egg omelet, 1 oz cheddar cheese and 1 pc ham lunchmeat Snack: 2 SF Fudge cookies Snack: 1/6 Angel food cake w/ 1 serving SF Caramel sauce.. Snack: 1/2 cup homemade potato salad w/egg Dinner: Hamburger Helper with hashed brown potatoes and 3 oz added beef.  Dessert: 1/2 cup Frozen Yogurt (Blue Bunny) Strawberry Cheesecake I should just run off to bed. I didn't drink enough water today at all but I did get the house clean. I took a nap (that doesn't count as exercise, right?) LOL. Today was a really lazy day but I did think about what I'm taking on vacation for snacks..beef jerky and protein bars and drink mixes with water bottles..and cheese sticks with lunch meat.  Totals for the day: Calories: 1804 Fat; 76 Carbs: 175 Protein: 93 Since today was a throw away day, tomorrow I'll be better, (raises right hand) I promise.. How did you do today?

Working in the yard is what I need but unless I get out there before the sun comes up..It aint happening... Do you eat the whole bun with your hamburger? I'm having trouble...It stuffs me completely and it's not feeling good.

Nope, can only eat about half a burger at a time, and mostly take off the top bun before I finish. I am not a bread person, doesn't agree with me well.

Me too but I was wondering. I can eat a small bun, like on the Del burger that I eat but toward the end, I'm taking the bun off and eating the "innards".  I just tell people that bread is just the delivery system for what we really want to eat...Who wants to eat the container? Not me...But I'm trying to add more carbs and bread is the one that the world uses..

Hi Dawn, what a weekend; way to much cajun food at my dad's house, ugghh.  Tomorrow begins my back to basics; what got me to here in the first place.  I know it works so I'm going to work my plan.

MMMM cajun food. I watch the foodnetwork and I think that's one thing I'd have to try...Especially the crayfish... I'm going to be on my own for two weeks with no journaling and no accountability..I'm scared to death that I'll freak out and lose weight but even more scared that I'll lose control and GAIN weight...sigh..I can't win.

Dawn, I  just had to reply to your posting even though I am not posting on the accountability thread.

Don't be afraid, think of this as a test. When you get back home from vacation you will see how well you did. ?Gain ?Lose ?Remain the same? I don't think you can do too much damage to yourself in two weeks. So far I have stayed the same without journaling my food intake, I hope that continues. To me, that means I have learned how to mentally keep tract of my food intake and am doing ok. I am sure you will do the same.

Have a great time on your trip.

Sher

I know. I know. I can't see that I can do that much damage in two weeks...I'm hoping I've learned how to mentally keep track..This is a test for what I've tried to learn in the last year...Hopefully I'm a better student than I am a teacher..I teach software use at work and some of those people just aren't getting it...I'm not a great teacher... We'll see.  Thanks!
