Well, how did everyone do on this lovely Saturday? The Nascar race was another Kyle Busch Toyota show...I think I'll skip the rest of the season in protest...Anyhoo...Here's how my day went, including all the gorey details of too many white carbs (chips) and some NSA Frozen Yogurt... Snack: 1 pure protein bar Breakfast: 3 scrambled eggs with cheddar chees and 2 strips of bacon, 1/2 cup hashed browns Lunch: nothing but two containers of water Snack (that should have been lunch:) potato chips...potato chips and more potato chips. Near as I can figure, probably three servings.  Dinner: 6 oz steak and 1/2 a small baked potato (already the carbs are making me dizzy)  Dessert: Ah! 1/2 cup Blue Bunny NSA Frozen Yogurt, Strawberry Cheesecake (this was yummy. So yummy, in fact that I'm gonna toss the last three servings of the NSA Dreyers Coffee Icecream...Nasty in comparison) Then to get over the hypoglycemic dump (I'd say the chips were the culprit or maybe the yogurt) I had, a protein bar: So Be Cereal High Protein bar.  I'm definitely done for the day...Need a nice tall glass of water and I'll be headed to bed! Totals: Calories: 1835 Fat: 98 Carbs: 135 Protein: 107 Tomorrow I'm headed to church to pray for my sorry soul...The protein is way too low for what I ate and the carbs and fat are too high...bacon..sheesh.

Yes, the carb number is higher but LOOK at that FAT number. WOW. less than 40 grams and that's amazing.  You did awesome. sometimes the carbs just have to jump but the other numbers are to die for! Good job.

I think the protein smoothie helped a lot. I didn’t feel so panicky at night…

I also ran five miles, rode the stationary bike for 10 minutes, and did 30 minutes of weigh lifting (upper body).

Woo Hoo. Nice numbers! Is that panicky thing maybe low blood sugar? I had that last night. I'm not sure if it was all the potato chips or the new frozen yogurt that I tried...MAN but that Blue Bunny has some great NSA Frozen Yogurt..

did alright.  Keep in mind when you see the totals I had a shrimp salad at Fridays at about 3 shrimp and 1/2 an egg plus lettuce.  Went on line and could not find the nutritional values for the salad.so totals don't include the salad. egg sandwhich on one slice of EB  the Shrimp salad  Latte with Lactaid milk  Veggie chips   3/4 of a brat 1/3 cup fresh fruit (strawberries, peach, nectorines)  Washbi mix  totals Cals735  protien 51  carbs 62 Once again remember salad wasn't counted

I totally agree...I only include the salad because it's another line of something I ate.LOL. And I'm anal about that sort of thing. I'm going to be stepping back from the Anal OCD thing in the next two weeks cuz 1) I won't have computer access and 2) I want to see how I do without the journaling.. Shrimp is one of my favorite sources of protein..I love a shrimp salad. I keep frozen shrimp around just to toss them on my salads..Yumo!  What is in your wasabe mix? I love wasabe peas and the best part is, that snack the rest of the family will stay awayfrom...heheheh. It's all about NOT sharing around here..LOL

I have found the snack in two places.  Market world has small bags.  and then you can go to Henry's (which may be local to California)  You can buy it in bulk there.  I get my nuts and dried fruit there too.  Just make your own trail mix.

Had a quiet day on Saturday and didn't do much of anything except tend to my DD (almost 7) who might have an ear infection.  Lots of swimming and tender ears, low-grade fever on Friday night.  Poor baby! Maintaining DSer, lots of calories & fat went into my mouth. B - 2 donuts (Entenmann's chocolate coated donuts), lg. iced coffee w/cream & sugar from Dunkin Donuts (DH awoke with an Entenmann's craving and made a Wawa stop) L - Apple walnut chicken salad (still!) in half of a soy pita, half a peach S - strawberry protein shake made with 8 oz half & half and 8 oz ice (doesn't matter what I make it with, protein shakes always taste vaguely of monkey butt) S - one more donut... (they're gone now...) D - guacamole, chips, beef fajitas (without tortillas, since I had the chips), sour cream, cheese, lettuce S - Reese's big cup S - Cheese (prob 3 oz) and some Rosemary & Olive oil triscuits It was a hungry day.  Today is also a hungry day.  Tomorrow's accountability thread will not be for the faint of heart.  Sorry!
