hernias and tt

Lynn,  They basically prorated the OR time and anesthesia and paid for the over night stay.  So the cost to me was $5500.  I had the hernia repair and skin removal covered I had to pay for the TT.  Good luck!

I had a hernia repair and tummy tuck on June 25.  My bariatric surgeon did both and bothwere covered by insurance, I would absolutely have both done at the same time and save yourself some surgery!  I would not have had the tummy tuck if I did not have to have the hernia fixed.  They had to cut me open to fix me so I figured I may as well get it all done! Hi Cheri, I had a rather large incisional hernia removed and a tt done @ the same time; my WLS repaired the hernia and my PS did the tt & muscle tightening.  From what I understand, it's pretty common to do both together. Good luck!
