hernias and tt
I just found out I have a really big incisional hernia under my belly button that was repositioned during a tt. I have to have the TT revised because it healed crooked. The PS found the hernia during a pre-tt visit.
My question is: Has anyone had their hernia repaired on the same day as your tt??? I'm trying to limit my surgeries.

I haven't had it done yet but I am scheduled to have both TT, hernia repair and possible gall bladder removal on Aug 12.
I too would like to try to limit my surgeries, if this one goes ok and I heal well, I want to have the girls lifted and bat wings removed in Jan 09. PS said he would do them at same time if this surgery went ok.

Hernia Repair/TT 9.23.08
On June 11 I had a hernia repair and TT. My PS was willing to do the repair so I did not have to get a general surgeon. The good thing about the hernia was it allowed me to get partial insurance coverage for the or and the hospital. They covered the hernia and the skin removal but not the TT.

I have a hernia and I want a TT. My ins. will not cover TT, only hernia. How did they decide how much of the hospital bill the ins. would cover? How much did you end of having to pay? I thought the entire hospital and anesthesia would be covered, just the surgeon's fee for TT.
