Lost my pants - not my mind!

Well, I've been kinda bummin' about only losing 4 pounds doing 5DPT (3 of them on the first day). But today, while moving some furniture and having no free hands, my pants fell down! I've greatly increased my physical activity level and am wondering if there's really something to this "theory" about gaining muscle/losing fat but the scales not budging. Well, anyways, it made me feel like I'm moving in the right direction! Fortunately my boyfriend was the only one present when I lost my pants and he didn't seem to mind!
Peace & Love, Donna K.

You shouldn't be bummed at losing 4 pounds in five days. That's great! Losing your pants, well thats another way to measure weight loss, good you were at home.

That's amazing that you lost that much weight, or inches, or girth, or whatever you lost, in just a few days. I wish your actual size would always reflect on the scale, but I agree that it doesn't. It seems the harder I work out, the more I weigh, but my waist measurement went from 25.5 to 25, so I know I haven't really "gained" but it still bites. Even though your weight only went down 4 pounds, you've obviously done something right to lose your pants like that.
