What day is this? I'm lost.. I went crazy today. Exceeded my normal calorie ceiling...and I'm again, stuffed. I've been in a really blah mood with alittle irritation under the edges...I wasn't sure what it was and then it hit me...PMS..That's me. And the carb monster got me today too. I forgot to pack my fruit for lunches and snacks and so I didn't even eat my shrimp that I packed (because I forgot the ****tail sauce..I mean really, what is shrimp without ****tail sauce? blah) so I went out in search of a HAMBURGER. I guess a couple weeks ago when I went and got the Double Del Burger I struck a nerve. So there you have it. I peeled most of the bottom bun off but counted it as if I'd eaten the whole thing. Greasy and nasty but I ate it. Never did eat the shrimp.  Here's the damage for the day:

5:30 am coffee, 10 oz 6:00 am 1/3 cup oatmeal, ¼ cup TVP, 1 cup soy milk  6:30 am coffee, 10 oz  7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Wylers Pink Lemonade 8:00 am 1 oz cheese stick, 1 pc ham lunch meat  9:00 am 1 cup coffee 10 oz 9:30 am 1 pc SF Candy.  9:45 am NSA Pocket Pie, Apple  11:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Lemon Berry  12:00 am Double Del cheese Burger  1:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Power Edge Caffeinated Orange  3:30 pm 2oz Lowrey's Jerky  4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Power Edge Caffeinated Berry  5:30 pm 1 cup coffee 10 oz  6:00 pm 3 oz chicken breast, ¼ cup rice, ¼ cup canned corn  6:30 pm 1 pure protein bar

Totals for the day:  Calories: 2036 Fat: 89 Carbs: 192 Protein: 137 And still, after eating that burger someone stopped me in the halls at work and asked me if I'm still losing weight. I wanted to punch them in the nose...I'm sorry guys. This is just not fair and I know it. I know how hard you all work to get off the pounds. I see the little tiny numbers of calories and I try and encourage you on your journey to lose your last pounds. I'm embarrassed as hell to post what i eat and don't want you to think I'm sitting here laughing..I'm not. I'm really sorry. If you are in the same boat as me, I can sure sympathize. And if you're not, don't take my diet as an example. I'm just weird or sick or something.

Hey Dawn, no way could I eat what you eat in a day......wow how do you manage that much food and ALL those liquids, I'd be sick as a dog.  Here is my day, didn't eat enough but I haven't been hungry all day and just cannot force myself to get anything else in. Edit:  Dawn I hope I didn't upset you in any way by posting I don't know how manage to eat that much food, I didn't mean it in a negative way.  My pouch is still small I guess, the intake at one time is VERY limited so I guess what I meant to say is I'd be eating ALL day long.  It amazes me how much everyones intake various.  Now if I eat junk then let it roll, I can get a whole lot in.  July 2, 2008

You're right. I'm trying hard to gain the weight without losing control and gaining it all back. The fact that I had just eaten that stupid hamburger when someone asked me if I was still losing weight..sigh... Your numbers are really good today. Right on the money..10% for protein..It's great to see that. I love those muffins in a minute...I always forget about those.

I had a fairly quiet day, foodwise.  My disclaimer: maintaining DSer.  Calories ahoy. B - woke up late and missed it.  Hate it when that happens. L - out to a fancy restaurant with my mom I had a seared sea scallop with some interesting stuff on top of it (onion, watercress, and what tasted like a section of clementine) resting on a bed of English Pea puree for an appetizer, and about 6 oz of hangar steak in a horseradish demi-glace accompanied by a medallion of chevre (goat cheese) wrapped in swiss chard.  And dessert - a molten chocolate cake with whipped cream and port wine reduction (Mom had 3 bites, I had about 6 and it was gone.  Yum!) S - Large iced coffee with cream & sugar from Dunkin Donuts D - apple-walnut chicken salad (homemade) in half a soy pita (Trader Joe's) S - 1 c. hot onion dip and about 6 ritz crackers. Best parts of the day - I went shopping afterwards and bought a pair of shorts (size 4) and a new top (size M); and my DD (7) came home from an 11-day vacation with my parents.  God, how I missed that little booger!

Bronwen I never thought I'd drink cold coffee but finding myself really enjoying it especially with all the heat.  I order mine from McDonalds (Starbucks are few and far between here so I don't pass one anywhere close to work or home).   I order a large w/3 Splenda, it's so refreshing. Congrats on the size 4 and mediums, you've done very well with the loss and keeping it off!

LOL. I'm glad you put the disclaimer. But since you missed breakfast, I can see going crazy with lunch. Sometimes I eat my breakfast so early I have another breakfast just so I can make it to lunch...Then I skip lunch. It doesn't really make sense to people but it happens.  I LOVE fish...That is cool.  I'm thinking my next steak will have to include the horseradish..I have some but I always forget to use it...

I ate & ate & ate today...had a BBQ at my house with some friends and made myself sick!  Everyone was so happy though...I was eating.  Still makes me mad that most people don't understand how this surgery works.  I got a lot of "too skinny" lectures AGAIN.  UGH...I love my friends but just leave me alone already.  I know I'm too thin, I know I look sick, I know I need to eat more...BUT I CAN'T!! Anyways... B:  coffee ~ only 1 cup this morning!!! S:  SBD strawberry/banana water  L:  morning star chicken patty & broccoli slaw S:  SBD peanut butter granola bar (ate it too fast and it HURT) & DD iced coffee w/ skim D:  too many crackers w/ veggie dip, sun chips (garden salsa yum), broccoli slaw & 2 oz chicken 2 glasses of wine & spoonful of strawberry shortcake just enough to get a taste S:  greek yogurt, PB2, sf chocolate syrup, nut topping, strawberries & whip topping and another beer Not enough water today ~ I need to work on that!! I've been drinking too much alcohol but the summer weather is here and it tastes really good.

Wow...You did have a full day. That's cool. It's the season for parties and especially this weekend. Nothing tastes better than a cold wine cooler on a hot July day...Seriously. And after the work days I've had, I'm surprised I haven't hit my stash of wine coolers more. I moved the CASE to the fridge last weekend..Then only had one. hmm. Maybe tonight.  We're in the same boat but how to "Let go" wisely. I don't think there is a way to do it. So I'm trying. The girls at work bug me, my family bugs me...I just can't win.  Your menu looks really good. I'm sure you'll have a great weekend. See ya.
