5 DPT week of 6/30/08- Day 2

Good Morning, Ladies!

Well, I blew it. Yesterday I began the day with my protein then things went downhill from there. Had a TERRIBLE day while running errands. It took all day to do what should have only taken an hour to do. Anyway, to make a long and boring story short, I had a salad, half a piece of cornbread, and only about 4oz of disgusting tea. In the evening (when I was finally home) I had another protein shake. So much for day 2, huh? Today will hopefully be better. The packers/movers are arriving for the first wave of our things - they're not taking my blender yet!- lol With some luck and determination I will be able to make up my Day 2.

hey...it couldve been worse!    hang in there, you'll do fine!  -hugsss- my day 2... ive only had 16oz of my Soy Protein Shake today, which only comes to 40g of Protein, but i have been DRINKKKKKKKKKing all day ..total of 92oz of liquids, not including 10oz of Creamy Chicken Soup.   so, i did rather well.....until i got home.   LOL i only worked from 730am-230pm, so while at work, i did GREAT! ...when i got home...i had about 2 cups of Watermelon ..i couldnt STOP...and 1/2 banana i plan to just continue with tomorrow as Day 3 and put Day 2 behind me ...i am still getting one more protein shake in tonight and just started on a 20oz Water. GOOD LUCK TO ALL, HANG IN THERE and DRINKKKKKK   :)

Thanks! It's 9:00am here and I'm already up around 58g of protein. Now all I have to do is remember to keep drinking!

It doesn't sound so bad, Bex.  I really admire you for doing it during a move, man that must be stressful! My day was pretty much the same as yesterday, with the addition of 20 min on the elliptical.  SF Popsicles & maybe a pudding till bedtime...I finished my water early because today I had to get up at 4:00 am to pee...I hope I get it all out tonite. Here's to a good day 3 for all of us!

Howdy,

Well, my day one, yesterday, was perfect up until about 11:30 PM,  I told you, I'm a night -eater, out-of-control night-eater. So much shame comes with all that, I'm trying so hard to break this habit. It's like I totally lose all resolve at about 11:00 PM everynight. Well, at least, my days are pretty good. But this morning, day #2,  I moved forward, Praise the Lord, Yes, I moved forward,  I've had a good day. I've had several protein shakes and alot of water. Tomorrow is day #3. Keep a look out for me....

Hi Fellow 5DPT'ers! Last Sunday June 30, I finally got on the 5DPT bandwagon after lurking on the boards for the past few weeks. I just finished day 3 of my 5DPT with no mistakes so far.  Days 1 and 2 were not easy but I was able to survive by keeping busy doing some things around the house that I kept putting on the back burner.  I also spent a lot of time reading the posts on this website. I couldn't wait to get to day 3! Cottage cheese has never tasted so good!!  I mixed it with a snack container of mandarin orange sugar free gelatin. Strange combination but it was very good. The toughest thing for me today was going to the mall and staying away from the food court. I also managed to stop in K-Mart and get through the line without picking up any candy or junk they keep at the registers.  Now I'm going to have my bed-time snack of sugar-free pudding and hit the sack!! Man!! Ditto on the sucky day yesterday Bex - i went WAY OVER my cal. count!! i started off doing the 5dpt this week & instead, turned it into some psudo-weigh****chers diet plan (shakes during the day & food at night)..... thought im still "loosing weight", i dont feel as good during the day as i did b4 while on the 5dpt. get it? anyways - im totally eating LESS - ut im still EATING...

The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.
