How was your day? come and let us know how you fared on this wonderful, smoke filled California day!

So nice that plums are in season. I bought five of them at the market but someone in our office has a tree and brought theirs in...Don't even compare! The home grown are FAR better. So with all the people with trees with apricots and plums and peaches...I brought my dehydrator in and we're running it all day at work so we can watch it. Too dangerous to let it run at home by itself or at night when you're sleeping..

Isn't it amazing how much a tiny bit of margarine "costs"? I started using butter buds and put a Tablespoon of real margarine on some potatoes..Well, I looked at the label and about croaked. It was nothing before WLS to put a half a stick of butter on my veggies and potatoes along with some on a piece of bread for dinner...No wonder I was obese!

Another thing on your list gets me thinking. I dehydrated some Mexian Zucchini in thin slices with garlic powder and spices on it...Yumo. Like little veggie crackers.

WOW. Your list is great! Numbers are awesome!

RNY on 01/23/11 with
my turn   protien shake with 1/2 cup mixed berries.  3 slices of cheese with 3 triskets 2 oz roast beef 1 oz pepper jack cheese 1 nectarine 1 hard boiled egg.  1/2 cup munchies 1/4 cup pasta 1/2 cup meat and sauce   Totals cal1096 pro65 carbs 106.9 I've been stress as well and catching myself wanting to snack in the evening which has always been my down fall.  I may have to resort to some other snack. I tend to want the carbs.  More boiled eggs or somewhere someone did a treat with LF cream cheese and sf pudding.  but I can't remember the ratio.  JUST have to move away from the carbs.  This only started about 2 days ago.  Can't be my cycle (don't have those)  Just gonna take a little more love talk from myself I did get 2 cups of coffee in and the shake was a cup of milk and yes I got another 32 oz of water down.   And best of all a 40 min walk at lunch.  may account for wanting to eat tonight also habit.   Night all and hugs

Ohmygosh...Yeah those carbs are horribly addictive. The more you eat, the more you want. I was a total carb monster before wls...Now I really have to watch and make sure I don't do too many.. Compared to your protein, that's what I mean. I tend to eat a few more carbs than my protein but not more than a third more most of the time.  With the 40 minute walk, all was not lost on the day. You did great. Carbs tend to be what we burn when we exercise. They're ready energy so it's a good thing.  See ya!

Not too bad actually..And the Sam Adams? So what? A weak moment occasionally and if your weekend and day were that bad, the carbs are worth it. That's my feeling anyway.  The carbs to calorie count is still lower than the national average and if you had maybe hit the protein one more time...it wouldn't have mattered at all..All in all a good day.  See you later! Have a better day today. ;-)

At least the Fiscal year is here and over...You get to start fresh again at work...Now things get to calm down until everyone gets back from vacations (Isn't that how it works? Now everyone takes turns leaving right?)  I don't miss working!  My army brat drove all the way from VA to Seatlle, WA (should be there today sometime)...in the car he first wrecked while at home last month and then bought...So it's his now, payments, insurance spike and all!  :::Sigh:::21 year old kids are still little boogers!  I don't miss all the friends that came to see him...I don't miss the late late hours kids keep...I don't miss the junk food they bring home...But , dang it, if I don't already miss my kid! LOL Oh well... So now I can go back to a regular quiet, slow paced old lady-ish lifestyle again...YAY!!!! B: Instant coffee in water, 2 oz choco protein powder, unsweet soymilk L: 6 oz baked chicken breast, with tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach and parm/mozz cheese in vinegarette marinade D: Protein bar S: 1 C fresh blueberries and strawberries mixed       1/2 C Fiber One Cereal (dry) S: 1/4 French bread bagette w/ olive oil and spices       1 oz Danish Havarty Cheese Fat: 33        Carbs: 134.5       Protein: 118.5        Fiber: 28          Calories: 1300 Weird day...was not hungry for dinner then had a evening munch attack...Why my dd brings home fresh baked bread is beyond me...Can you punish a 19 YO for bringing home the bread?
