Sorry I did not post this Sat.  I have had a teething 8 month old all weekend.  Not gonna go into more than that.  lol lol  I lost 6lbs.  I am so proud of myself.  I also did so good Sat and started out good Sunday.  I think cause we stayed in ALL day long yesterday I fel like I was hungry all day.  It was yucky most of the day and just laying around with a crying baby watching tv was NOT a good thing for trying to stay on tract.  I did weigh this am and I am still down 6lbs.  I have already had 2 protein shakes and about 20 ozs of water so hopefully I can try this 5dpt again this week or at least moderate it a little to keep myself on track.  I hope everyone else is doing good! Great job, Denise.  Enjoy that 8 month old, teething and all, because in a blink of an eye, you'll have an 18 year old like me! Off to have my protein shake now,

That is so great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You have done so well!!! I am doing the 5DPT this week.  I feel like my carbs have crept up and I have been stuck in a stall trying to lose my last 16 pounds.  I weighed 163 this morning...up a pound, so if the 5DPT can take me into the 150's, I will be joyous! I'm in the middle of Day 1 and I really feel like I need to chew on something!!!!   Though I do feel full....having more liquid then I have been having!  I am a bit concerned that when I added all of the meals I plan to have today and then subtracted my planned exercise in calorieking.com, my net calories are about 200.  I wonder if I am going to be able to run 5K on that kind of fuel. We'll see tonight. So far, Breakfast - EAS AdvantEdge Cafe Caramel Shake (110 calories  17 gm. protein) 20 oz. water Snack - Dannon Carb Control/Sugar Control Smoothie (60 calories 6 gm protein)                Iced Grande 2 Splenda Decaf Latte (Starbucks) (120 calories 8 gm protein) Lunch - EAS Myoplex Lite Shake (150 calories 25 gm protein) 20 oz. of water. 440 calories, 56 gm of protein thus far.  Not sure yet, what dinner will be....either a protein shake or some protein broth...depends on how hard it is to choke down lunch.

Denise,

Way to go! I agree with the first post; hug and kiss that baby because I, too, have teenagers! Ages 18 and 17. I'm convinced I am being punished. It must have carried over from another life or something because I've been pretty darn good in THIS life! Don't teach that baby to talk or have his/her own opinion!

Keep up the good work, lady!
