Good Morning first day of the 5PDT
Good Morning to all, just wanted to say thanks for the replys and good luck to the ones who waited to start fresh Monday, but i decided to get started now why put off what you can do today..Besides come monday I will be back to eating the basic while you guys are doing liquids
for the first 2 days.. Anyways I bought me a pack of gum cause I know im gonna need something to chew on. So far I had chicken broth so delightful, yeah right
Well later on lunch break i will be heading out to the store to pick up a protein drink.. I will be checking back in later on in the day to see how im doing.. thanks again for the support. I cant wait to see the scale move..

You hang in there and you will be glad that you did:) If you feel an urge, go for a walk, plant some flowers, talk to a neighbor, get out;) I have to say though, that I have heard that chewing gum actually makes you more hungry. Something about chewing and salava makes our tummies think something is coming. Anyway, just a thought. I am not exactly sure why, but my Dr. made us sware off gum. I have not had a piece for over 2 years and I was a gum chewer. I think his reasoning was that if it was swallowed it could be tricky.
My very best to you!!!!
hey apple!
you have me slightly worried..so see my above post..."concerned for the 5DPT'ers".
DRINK DRINK DRINK.....constantly. you should have something in your hand all day whether it be broth, water, protein shake or jello...ALL DAY for Days 1 & 2. you should not go longer than 30 minutes without something.......
just wanted to touch base with you again...Good luck and Keep up the good work!

whew! ..i pounded in enough??! hehe ...that sounds great and keep up the good work ..and remember...if you have caffeine on a regular basis..dont cut it out completely..this is where the headaches come in ..there is also a "carb withdrawal" ..but i didnt experience it ..nausea, light-headed, headache...so yes...DRINK
