I'm on day 3 of the 5 Day Pouch Test. There are a few of us doing it right now and some of us are going to do another round right after. Check out www.5daypouchtest.com for more info on the plan. I made a couple of the soups which helped me through the hardest days (1 & 2).  Good luck!

I am ready to do this but want to start on a Monday.  How about a group of us start next Monday and keep track.  I have gained 12 lbs. that I want to get back off...and then some, and the only way I will be able to do it is if i get myself "cleansed" of carbs again...

Hi Apple and the rest who are willing to do the 5dpt!

I just want to jump in here and give my support to you all who are going to do the 5 day test. I started it back at the 1st of the year and have not looked back. I have been clean off of bad carbs since then. No white carb product has touched my lips...the only carbs I get are from fruit and veggies and have managed to keep my carbs in check to 50 at the most per day...40 the lowest.

I have dropped over 50lbs since then and I will be 6 years out on the 10th of next month.

I highly recommend this way of living...you the rules...like we did when we were newbies. It has not always been easy and sometimes I do want to cave...but my size 8 pants taste way better than any cracker, piece of bread, pasta, rice, or potatoes ever could. I am just a few pounds off my high school weight...and for the 1st time since I had wls, I actually feel successful!

So any kind of support you all need....I am so there for all of you!!!

I wil be checking in! Thumbs Up

I am starting on Monday. I am 10 months out and down 101 pounds.  I have 18 to go to get to my goal, but I have literally been STUCK for almost 6 weeks. I have been eating 1200-1400 calories a day and running 3 days a week. I am hoping this will jump start my stall and I will properly arrive back here as a "Graduate" in the next few months. Hope you don't mind me chiming in here! Dawn

I'm going to give it another go! I think it will be much easier to get past days 1 & 2 since we've detoxed ourselves from the bad carbs already. Bex
