If you do eat yogurt make sure it is lite.  Keep the carbs and sugars low so you don't dump.  Try only a few bites.  Your body well tell you if you can handle it.   Stay strong

Oh ya - its "LIGHT". They unfortunately didnt have any of the SF/FF left. I can actually tolerate yogurt OK - ive not yet dumped on it. **thank goodness**. i more so wanted to confirm if yogurt is w/in the parameters of the 5dpt. Thanks for your support :)  I need to check & see if i can have a strained cream soup for dinner.

If we can have milk and pudding, why not yogurt? That's my opinion. I'm not sure of the "rules."

Candace, I was hoping to have fage yogurt in the morning, the 0% fat.  Love that stuff!  Now, here is the question, can I mix a few berries in it?

According to the 5dpt website - we are able to have: Days 1 & 2: Liquid Protein low-carb protein shakes, broth, clear or cream soups, sugar-free gelatin and pudding.  Hearty Soup Recipes for Days 1 & 2 Ham & Cheese Soup | Low-Carb Pumpkin & Sausage Soup | Ham & Split Pea Soup  The low-carb protein recipes look pretty interesting. But no where do i see "YOGURT" (unfortunately). & worse yet, I dont think we can include berries in anything as they tend to be high in carbs. right?? at this point - i cant even LOOK at the recipes for days 3-5. they all look SO DAMN GOOD & I WANNA EAT UM! but im not going to. I will do this liquid purification thing for at least 1 more day. Still dont know about the yogurt - but i dont think it will negatively impact the results THAT MUCH.

You are killing me here, Candace.  I was just getting ready to go get some of that fage and put a few berries in it.  Now what?  I guess it will have to be jello then hit the sack.

Well, I got my fage and mixed in some of the orange sf jello.  It was really good!  Like a creamsicle.  I will eat that again sometime.

Right on - I think thats OK. I took a more indepth look at some of the 5d recipes b/c i wanted to have that pumpkin soup for dinner. Turns out i didnt have sour cream, heavy cream or chicken broth required for the recipe. But that got me thinking... sour cream & heavy cream!! wait a second... & i realized that its not CLEAR LIQUIDS we're suppose to be having b/c we can have CREAM SOUPS!! Take a look at the recipes for days 1 & 2: Days 1 & 2: Liquids
  • Mocha Smoothie
  • Pina Colada Protein Shake
  • Vanilla Chai Smoothie
  • Unjury Hi-Protein Pudding
  • Hearty Soups
  • Ham & Cheese Soup
  • Low-Carb Pumpkin & Sausage Soup
  • Ham & Split Pea Soup
  • Head Hunger Soups: Feed the Carb Monster
  • Black Bean Soup
  • Beans and Barley Soup
  • Lentil and Barley Soup  With food like that to choose from, we can TOTALLY DO THIS for the rest of the week!! & ya, Im gonna keep eating my LIGHT yogurt & you keep on eating your FF yogurt. Im thinking its OK. Cheers to every one who made it through day 2 of the 5DPT! Good Night
