OH NO! I've become one of THEM....(kind of long)
I didn't reply earlier when I read this, but I've been thinking about it all day, and I'm even gonna tell my nieces about it (they both have had surgery as well).. but totally if she can't take it she shouldn't di****! MAN even the best of us would have had a hard time keeping quiet.

Before/Lowest/Current/Goal I have come too far to take orders from a cookie!
You guys rock! I feel good about myself. It's almost 8:30am Wednesday morning here in Seoul and I just saw WOMAN walk by my house. I was ready for a fight! She just kept walking though. LOL I told my teenage son what happened and he said he was going to pee in her flowers. OMG what a riot. I stopped him though. Of course, how often do kids actually listen to their parents? lolololol

LMAO! Good for you...I can see myself reacting the same way. I have not had anyone actually be as rude to me as Woman was to you after WLS...but I did have a "woman" of my own before surgery with all her uneducated opinions on WLS and obese people. And I too just found my mouth speaking faster than my kind heart and level head! LOL Certain people just rub ya the wrong way one too many times and that's it....At least it is for me. I have no trouble telling someone off if they try to make me feel bad about myself for no other reason than to hurt my feelings...I give it right back...I don't care what age it says on my drivers license!
FROM A FORMER 23 YEAR VET MILITARY WIFE TO ANOTHER ,,,,YOU GO GIRL lol
Seriously she had it coming.. I dont like the know it alls like that either. She is jealous . I once said to someone like that, yes I did , perhaps you should try it ,,,,IT will at least let you take off about 75-100 lbs of those you need to lose .:)
Have a wonderful rest of the week

Hey, we've all got a little of that in us I think, especially when people are mean, judgmental, and snarky. Like you, I usually don't take the bait, but I do sometimes reach my boiling point and things come out of my mouth that I'd usually just keep to myself. You at least feel ashamed about what you said; I bet the same is not true of The Woman.
Forgive yourself and move on -

I just read your original post and all the responses and couldn't have said anything better or differently than you've heard from everyone else. But when I read the comment about your son and his reaction, I about wet myself laughing out loud. I raised 2 boys and can imagine one of them saying the same thing! :) BTW, I think "Woman" would be hateful even if she were thin...ugliness comes from the inside. ~~Gail
