the Daily Plate..the tracking is ON!
That sounds so perfect! Then a salad for dinner and voila! The perfect day! I think I'll try making that with coffee flavored postum, that way theres no caffeine, and just use the real coffee maybe when I need a pick me up, but ooh it sounds soo good! Thanks for the recipe!

When I first started logging my food...i found that I was adding too many calories with olive oil...I use butter too, but only a tiny bit of it for fish and some things you just gotta have butter! LOL I don't do margarine...LOL But often I'd just drop about a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan to start my dish....now, I use a fraction of it with the oil mister...You're gonna love it! I was able to cut 100's of fat calories by doing this...
I never really worry about fat since it's one of the things we malabsorb, but it still has some useless calories too...and those from what I understand all too well, that, we do absorb. All my fat and cholesterol levels were great...but who needs the calories? Now I don't feel guilty using a little extra butter or mayo now and then because I rarely eat much oils or fats these days....Fats are not the enemy really...they help things flow and keep skin nice and healthy too...so I'd never cut them out completely like some people who are totally fat phobic...I just do it for the extra calorie cutting without sacrificing amount of food! LOL
I have been using the olive oil flavored pam spray for years...Hubby uses BACON GREASE...Whew.. I'm up against it around here. LOL I just never realized what the calories were that the real stuff added. I guess I need to go plow the north forty if I eat butter..LOL See ya.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

You're doing a great thing for yourself by tracking your food. I do it every now and then when I'm up a few pounds, and I get so surprised where my calories are coming from. I was having peanut butter three times a day for a while, and then I started mixing honey with it. It sure is good that way, but I had to cut down on it and haven't bought any more honey.
Hey there, glad to see you're doing well today!!! I am completely addicted to thedailyplate.com, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! In fact, last night when I went to bed dh says "hon, you forgot to log our 4mile walk and your dinner tonite"-he was right b/c I was exhausted, but I like to log it on the day that I do it, LOL, so I got up out of bed and hopped online for a minute. thedailyplate is the most user friendly that I've ever gone with too~much easier for me than sparkpeople or fitday. Anyway, I'm glad you're liking it there too!!!!!!!!!
