Hi all, Today was much better for me.  I did get to eat (tuna,talapia,cottagecheese)  and I had my 64 oz. of water.  I'm so happy that Stephanie shared her favorite protein drink with me.....Max Protein from GNC.  (Some don't carry it).  I'm 4 years out from rny and never did find a p. drink I could stand.  But this really is delicious!  I never thought I'd say this about any protein drink.  Tomorrow I'll try her chicken salad.  Thanks and Kudos to Steph! Hello! I am on day two of the 5dpt. I am very much looking forward to the tuna salad and talapia tomorrow! ha!! I haven't done so well with drinking as much water as I should. I will have to try the Max Protein from GNC. I've been buying the already made protein shakes from Wal-Mart. I tried the strawberry today, and it they weren't half bad!  Keep up the good work on the 5dpt! I am right behind you!!! hehehe Janie

You will think you died and went to heaven when that tuna hits your pouch.  After  not eating for 2 days the tuna was like so yummy.  (And I'm not really a tuna fan!)  I think the carbs are mostly out of my system.  I always feel so much better when that happens.  Too bad I think I have to have some.  I really don't!  Imagine.  Hang in there you can do it!\ Dancin'D

I Know you will do great!  I would suggest that you plan/shop for the ingredients for the soup on the plan.  I wish I had.  Throughout this my fingers seem to be somewhat swollen.  Rings fitting tighter, that sort of thing.  I'll let you know IF I lose any weight.  That will be a big bonus.  I was trying to cut out my carbs and get back to my pouch rules.  This has definitely helped that.  Keep us posted on your journey. Okay this is day three for me!! You were right! When I ate that tuna salad, I felt like I died and went to heaven!! LOL Tonight I am having tilapia. I am really looking forward to this! I am so grateful to have come across this 5dpt. I was so scared that I lost complete control of my eating. I feel I am getting back to where I was before. This is very exciting for me! Janie

Great  work!!!!  I know what you mean.....I also thought I had completely lost control of my eating, again !!  It is exciting.  Today I had a  charbroiled hamburgery patty, cheese on top and a few grilled onion on top. Of course brk. was cottage cheese.  I've had 1 protein shake, 2/3 of my water. Tonight I'll have 4 oz. boiled shrimp. (Man I love catsup & crackers with those suckers!)  But I'll not eat them. Then another protein shake before bed.  I really do feel so much better and I'm sleeping more soundly!  Imagine that.....our bodies like it when we fuel it correctly! Keep up the good work.  Tomorrow I'm going to try a chicken salad recipe.  Can't wait!  D
