She's too busy with work and her new business...seriously busy. But she's around. Just lurking. I think she'll be back when things calm down some...HOPEFULLY. Good to hear about Carla. She helped me get on track with this too, and it helps. I had good exercise at kung fu 1.5 hours today. Ate way more bread stuff than usual, but those cherries were yummy. I'm really having snack issues tonight...I know I want something more but what?  Your totals are wonderful, as usual. I ate sugar free cookies twice today and that's probably the snacking issue in a nut shell. But it's been really stressful at work. Not a reason to give in to the stress but it's all I got! LOL

lots of times I go for the strawberries or fruit. its a complex carb better than the other carbs. But I do get those salty cravings too.

Thanks for the update....Sorry I have not been posting recently...I am so swamped with company/guests and teenagers! In fact I have 5 (FIVE) 18-21 year olds all entertained, fed and finally asleep in my house at this moment! Whoever thought 13 year old sleep overs were a handful ought to try to entertain 18-21 y.o's  OY!  I'm whipped-beat-dead- tired... I can't wait til this is over and they all go home...My little army son is making me insane!!!!!  I love him...but...he brings cookies and cakes and chips and dips home....My daughter brings bread and ice cream...Their friends bring beer...and an appetite, of course. My son wrecked the family car...I spilled water on my keyboard which now types jibberish...(Good thing I had another keyboard) Which I hate...bu*****pes english...as long as my fingers and brain are functioning in unison..which is rare since vitamin deficiencies make me a bit ADD....Anyway....just thought I'd say hello and I'll be back soon and hopefully on track after I de-carb...and get all these young adults out of my house!  I need a vacation!  And the 5 DPT!  See you soon...and thanks for the update on Ms. Carla...Please give her our love and misses her-wishes her here!  Hugs Anita PS..I have not been too bad on calories...just bad on high carb-low protein...way too much sugar...'toot sweet'

Daniel slept through the night!  WooT!  And Kaitlin stayed in bed until 6:30!  Yeehaw! Appt. yesterday -- he thinks I have a senstive vagal nerve.. and that's why I've been having near syncope.  So, they scheduled a tilt table test, which sounds absolutely wonderful, as they try to make me pass out.  They will even inject me with meds to help the process along.  A wonderful 4 hours I'm sure.  Hubby has to be there to drive me home, so that gives it even more cred for being something I really wish I had kept my mouth shut about.  If it is this, there isn't anything to be done for it.. he gave me some preventatives.. but other than that, nadda. Hubby has to go through allergy testing.  He's had a sinus infection for 10 years, now they have found two polyps.  His ENT isn't tottally concerned about the polyps.. but is about the 10yrs of sinus infections.  So we'll see how that goes.  It will be moderatly unplesant as well. My folks got into town *late* last night.  They leave Saturday am.  Then Sunday am, I head off to Myrtle Beach to meet up with two preggie board members... then drive to Charlotte to meet up hubby who has a training thing.  Point?  Expect my eating to be off for a couple of days.  I may not be able to control my carbs, but I can up my protein in between to help boost the percentages. 1c coffee w/ ff moo 1c oikos w/ fibersure protein shake 1oz beef jerky twisted protein bar south beach sammy protein drink 1051 cals  26.61g fat  93.42g carbs  116.83g protein  16g fiber 30 min jogging, 30 min free weights

Thanks for the update about Carla....I wondered where she has been. Funny how life takes over and you barely have a minute to check your email!!

Had another day of puking up lunch...dunno what's going on with the pouch these days. Here's my day:

B: usual coffee w/H&H, followed by banana protein shake (4 oz soy slender + 1/2 scoop banana cream protein + 1/2 scoop vanilla cinnamon protein + 2 slices frozen banana).

S: Americano w/H&H, 2 bites of an Atkins protein bar...ick!

L: Hunan beef & veggies (probably ate abour 2 oz beef + carrots & couple pieces of broccoli), 1/4 c. rice, 1 bite of a spring roll. An hour later had the worst pouch pain and brought most of it up...yuk!

S: Diet swiss miss cocoa + vanilla protein powder..an hour later ate some Cheddairs (lowfat puffed cheese corn thingies).

D: chicken & squash casserole

S: 2/3 c. nonfat greek yogurt w/2 tbsp sf granola

Hmm. If you're eating the same thing and getting the same reaction I'd say it's the food (like the rice...I definitely have problems with rice) but if it's different things it has to be environment. I mean, stress? maybe you have issues NOT with what you're eating but WHERE?  I had to finally just have a snack before my lunch break, take my break and only drink liquids and then have a snack AFTER my lunch break.

Could have been the rice....it's iffy for me as sometimes I can eat it with no problem and other times forget about it! I think the problem also is related to fibrous foods as last weekend I ate a microwave minute muffin made with flaxseed meal and almost got sick afterwards. Funny how I can eat crap food like chips, candy, etc and never get sick off of those, but when I try to eat really healthy veggies & foods the pouch rebels.

Switch to almond meal on the muffins. But I know what you mean. I eat those microwave muffins alot but when I added just a few carob chips to the mix...dump.  I have to keep my rice down to 1/4 cup or less, which really sucks cuz alot of ethnic foods are rice BASED... I think of those so-called health foods as evil anyway. bread, pasta, rice, those are just a delivery vehicle for the toppings which is what I really want so I just eat the stuff with a spoon and leave the vehicle behind. Peanut butter and sf jelly, in a spoon is good stuff!
