So? How did everyone do today. I was low on my protein today. I skipped the oatmeal and that usually has well over 30 grams of protein with the soy milk and TVP so again...Tomorrow is another day. I got dh a 6 pack of assorted barbeque sauces for Father's Day...Hopefully, he'll grill me up some MEAT! He sure is a good cook...Far better than me.  Here's what I ate today: Snack: Yogurt 4 oz Breakfast 3 eggs, 1 slice of swiss cheese and about a cup of hashbrowns (could have chosen better on this but had to split a breakfast with dh..He had the bacon this time. Far too greasy for me.  Lunch: well, nothing actually: 1 oz cheese stick, 1 slice ham slice lunch meat and then 2 oz of beef jerky Dinner: about 4 oz of extra lean hamburger meat, baked into a muffin tin as a meat ball, 1/2 cup scalloped potatoes.  Now to figure out what I want for dessert...if anything. I've had 4 24 oz containers of water, only one was caffinated.  Totals for the day: Calories: 1542 Fat: 91 Carbs: 79 Protein: 104 Wow, I had no idea the carbs were that low...I did okay. How did you all do today? I keep seeing shows on the foodnetwork (food porn) that are centered around cotton candy...Eeew...that would kill me.

I was at a picnic/party thing most of yesterday.  It was really hot.. right up to the thunderstorms that popped up and ended the dancing (we were dancing around a maypole.. daughter couldn't do all the moves to the dancing, so we just went round and round with the others). I have no totals because it was not outta a can or anything. 1c oikos w/ fibersure
cliff builder bar
a few fries from bojangles
about 1oz poached salmon
3 very small boiled new potatoes
2 very small pieces of white bread w/ butter
about 6 mini sausages (really really small.. like the size of my pinky)
1/2 of a small piece of pound cake
about 8 large strawberries, no sugar
a sip (really, just a sip) of a Swedish liquor to taste
1oz beef jerky
protein shake (bsn syntha cookies and cream)

I know I was over on my cals (or at least I'd imagine so).  I had the jerky and the protein shake to try and boost my protein to carb ratio.

I see good protein in this list anyway. There's alittle carbs but nothing that would be a disaster and besides...It was a celebration and you can do that.  I'm jealous of the sweets cuz I just can't do that. But I also don't do elliptical work either. I guess I can let myself slide since it evens itself out! LOL.  Have a good Fathers Day! See ya!

yes a bit low for you! I got out of the house today. Still feel like my face wa**** with a mac truck with this sinus infection, but ate chicken, some potatoes, and protein drink. Progress since being in bed a week. Oh, had a cheese stick too. happy sunday!

I added some popcorn last night but it didn't really agree with me. I got thirsty right at bedtime but that popcorn was still in my pouch (I could feel it,,,not good) and so I couldn't drink anything. Maybe I'm off of the popcorn kick for a while.  I hate sinus infections. I used to get them more before I started with the allergy shots. My allergist is just the BEST! He's trying to get me the allergra that disolves in my mouth so that we don't have to guess how much is absorbed in my pouch...He's great. Hard to find a doctor that is so pro-active.

I start the day with 1/2 a bagel, egg cheese sandwith.  Hubby ate the other half.   started cleaning and forgot to really eat.  Had a Sugar Free latte while grocery shopping.  Took my 10 year old to a birthday party was alright until I stood by the chip bowl.  Had a handful well a stomach full  later had egg salad made with 1 egg and 4 wheat thins.  dinner was a stroganoff total measurement of about 1/2 cup.  Then to golden spoon.  It's our weekend treat.  Well I usualy do alright with there flavors.  Can't do the strawberry,  so last night I tried the cake batter.  Well I was so sick after.  needless to say back to the boring vanilla chocolate and my favorite banana.  The carbs in this are pretty good and calories aren't bad.  I just hate the dumping.  I always feel so sick So I can't cheat at all.  NO SWEET and nothing high fat.  Even something too high in carbs get to me.  Good thing but not when you think you have to have it.  Anyway looking back I most likly didn't enough.  When I get busy I just forget.

I'm so afraid to try bagels. they used to be my addiction of choice before WLS..I could eat several huge bagels and never even flinch...On friday they had a birthday party for one of the girls. Bagels, cookies and chile rellano casserole. I had the casserole and went BACK TO MY DESK. Before the bagels called my name. whew.  It's all just trial and error on things like ice cream. Carla loves the NSA Breyers Slow Churned Coffee Ice Cream...I measure out 1/2 cup (and let me tell you it's HARD because that's not my pre-surgery serving!) and it has me doubled over and in pain in a quick second..I have to stick to my home made soy banana frozen yogurt..Yumo!  You and me would have made great puppies. We really respond to that slap on the nose with the newspaper...Anytime anything makes me sick, I'm staying WELL away from it...Like a smacked puppy. Not like my stupid beagle who, if you smack her, comes right back and tries it again...dumb dog.

Actually not bad for that starbucks deal. That stupid little burger I had the other day was 560 calories..The only thing sort of bad about it is no protein...oh well. It sure tasted good, I'm sure. I LOVE my coffee.
