Hi Everyone ~ I'm fairly new to the "graduates" board as I'm just 13 months out.  Thought I'd say hello...wanna know about me just ask away.  I enjoy making new friends and helping others get through this thing we call a journey.

Welcome to the grads board. I took a quick look at your profile and you've had tremendous success. (Maybe even a little more success than you meant to have - did you ever dream you'd be trying to GAIN weight?)

Hi Wanda, Thank you for the welcome.  I began this journey hoping to lose the 60 - 80% of my excess body weight (140lbs) like the charts and surgeon told me.  That would have put me somewhere between 202 - 174.  My personal goal was 154.  Why?  I have not idea.   Then when I reached 150 I decided on 125 because that was when I remembered my weight "issue" becoming an issue at the age of 10 in the 5th grade when the nurse weighed me and said I was overweight...I WAS 10 YEARS OLD!!!!!  I got to 125 and am now holding steady between 1120 - 124 and am completely happy.  I've been told to gain 10 -20 pounds but I refuse to so I'm doing my best to maintain.  Never in a MILLION YEARS did I imagine the succcess I would have.  I have lost over 115% of my excess bodyweight...a percentage my surgeon says he's never seen before.  YEAH!!!

Again, thank you for the welcome!!!

Stephanie
