Accountability - Friday
Okay...The week is over and the weekend begins. I really really screwed up today and because I did, I don't really want to tell you what exactly I ate. Suffice it to say I went on a pity party binge today:

Protein: 117
No it didn't feel good.
I'm sure you all did alot better than me today..Go ahead, let's hear about your better choices. Tomorrow is another day and I'll do better tomorrow.

Breakfast- Stawberrys, pineapple, banana, 2% milk and ice to make a smoothie
Snack- egg whites, low fat cheese and onions
Lunch, 1/4 turkey wrap on whole wheat low carb
Snack another smoothie
Dinner 4 meatballs and low fat cheese 1/4 piece of whole wheat roll
Snack- Popcorn
60 ozs water
1 med decaf iced latte

Good..good. Not sure how the numbers stack up but you made some really good choices. did you make the meat balls or buy them pre-made. I made some a while back and froze them but I'm completely out...I need to make some more.

The meatballs were pre made. I actually ate at subway. I normally make my own though and use egg whites and whole wheat home made bread crumbs to help bind them together.
The shakes are about 120 calories each, not sure about the sandwhiches and the egg whites i believe are about 150 calories. I need to log into fitday but not everything matches correctly.

Subway is a really good place. Their sandwiches are on their website. I love their salads. I usually go to the fast food chain's website to get their nutritional value and put it in my customized foods on fitday for a while. If I hate it, I take it out of my list after a while but sometimes it stays. It's not an exact science but it's a reference point. At least when I'm looking for a place to eat and I already have the Del Taco double del cheeseburger on my customized list...I know what I'm getting (560 calories 26 grams protein..) I didn't feel too well after eating it but that was entirely expected. I don't do bread well at all.

We have a picnic today to celebrate a huge Swedish holiday.. so my food tomorrow is going to look very strange, I'm sure. Just be forewarned. SoBe granola bar 1c coffee w/ ff moo BSN protein shake 1c oikos w/ kashi vive cereal mixed in (freebie) grilled chicken fillet chicken and mozzie flatbread Champion protein drink w/ fibersure 1056 cals 25.61g fat 89.92g carbs 133.83g protein 25g fiber 30 min jogging 4mph, 30 min free weights
I didn't do as well yesterday. I think coming home from work I just gave into the night time snacking. I really try hard to avoid that. But the salty food always gets the better of me ALWAYS did.
AM small sausage bisquet with 1/2 slice of cheese and 1/2 an egg
yogurt with 1/4 cup vanilla burst cherrios
1/2 flour tortilla 2oz turkey 1oz provalone cheese honey mustard piece of bacon
1 hard boiled egg
1/2 cup home made chicken pot pie, low fat soups (really good)
3/4 SF pudding
Had full of flaming cheetoes (I really regreted that choice)
Still having trouble getting my water down
Oh well I don't really do the calorie count on all this. I probabaly should. But I always hated that when I was trying to DIET. Maybe that's something I should work on.

Dawn, I didn't log anything in yesterday, suffice it to say I flubbed up big time too. I'm so frustrated lately, I feel like I'm trying to fill a void in my life with food as comfort, this totally stinks.

Oh, You had a day like mine then.. I kept telling people my give-a-damn was broken but if I didn't care so much why did I feel so crappy about it. I had a double cheese burger at Del Taco and it made me feel even more like crap. Before noon I was at 1500+ calories..Nope didn't care.
I get absolutely no comfort from food and that's hard to handle. Suffice it to say, you and I are definitely feeling the same yesterday. I'm feeling slightly better today..At least it's a new start..

Dawn, Dana, you are not alone. I have been having those same type days here and there myself and just refuse to post my totals. You will know it, because I just don't post anything.
Let's just forget about our flub ups, is that a deal? Let's just get back to our happy place. We each have our own issues and struggles to deal with and need to find a better alternative than using food for comfort. Easy to say and hard to do, but we have everyone here to support us. We have all come to far to throw in the towel. Just dust yourselves off and begin again. We may struggle but after a lifetime (for me) of obesity this new life is a work in progress.
