I don't know if you have to have AOL to view this article about Carnie Wilson...But I thought it was great to see her making a real effort to lose the weight she had gained back. I'm so happy she's getting back on track...She lists a sample day menu and her exercise routine...and she's logging her food.

I hope these links work...
What a great article. Thanks so much for sharing. I feel extra bad for her because she is a celebrity with everybody watching her every move. That has to be so hard to deal with on a daily basis. I am proud of her and pulling for her to succeed. I have seen interviews of her, and she seems like a really genuine person. Again, thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I've been kind of fascinated by Carnie since reading her first book after losing her weight. It was about that time that I seriously started thinking about wls. I know many people jump all over those who gain weight after surgery (See--told you so!"), but those of us who have had it can surely feel compassion for Carnie, who is going through what many of us do, only as a celebrity.
I'm mentally cheering her on. Every time I read about someone succeeding when they've put on weight after wls, it gives me hope. I'm still struggling and need to know that it IS possible!
Always,
Jo
For alot of people having that extra pressure of knowing people expect you to fail is just more than they can bear...I just get mad and dig my heels in deeper but with the whole world watching...I feel for Carnie completely!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
