Hey! Quitting smoking is HARD! and just 4 tenths of a pound gain when you're trying to quit...I truly salute you! Yeah, the carb monster is rough too.  I'm thinking that I need a whole day of nothing but carbs to just really screw myself up...Isn't that what we do? Hurt ourselves when we feel like puck?

Congrats on quitting smoking!  I know how hard that WAS!!!!!!!  Good for you...You just stay strong and don't let it back.  It gets easier and easier.  What a nightmare trying to quit (and stay quit)  for 24 years!  I think we hit a point where we just know it's time and we're ready... I had enough...Couldn't find anything about smoking I liked anymore...I hated it more than I enjoyed it...Stopped using it as an excuse for stress relief or food control...or "it relaxes me"...Nope....had enough.  Smoked my last one at 5 minutes to midnight on New Years Eve 5  1/2 years ago.... One of the best things I ever did for myself...You should be proud...that's no easy or fun experience...You stay strong...It's worth it!

I'm 23 months out. Surgery was July 11, 2006. I see you got lower than your goal too. It was a year ago that I realized how mental this journey is...Today isn't my finest hour but I'll cheer you on.. What's your plan for getting to your goal of 145? Maybe I can tag along?
