I need help humana hmo high option is not paying for the dr Gagner cause he is not in their doctors, I want my repair  of hernia with the best Doctor and he is !! I was in the phone almost 2  hours no one in Humanas wants to help I have throw up evryday, got an hernia because of this a mild ulcer in my esaphogus and i am in pain, the hernia is pressing my stomach, my rny was 4 years and 4 months ago help claudia

If you want that Dr sounds like you will have to pay out of pocket - or use your out of network benefits if you have them. Perhaps the Dr will work out a plan with you if you are cash pay. The only other option is to have the Dr submit to Humana then go thru the appeals process and they and get them to pay. You state has a Department of Insurance you can contact and they can let you know of your rights.... since the Dr is non-contracted you are going to have a tough time, the laws are on the side of the insurance company.
