I just have to keep that kind of thing out of the house--if it's there, I'll eat it no matter how sick it makes me. When I was on WW, the group leader used to tell us: "You can eat anything you like (brownies, cookies, etc.) but first wa**** under hot running water!" That really worked! Good luck!

I have a no sweets policy in my house. If my husband wants it, he buys it for himself and eats it that day. I don't buy or cook sweets unless it's Thanksgiving, or another holiday. I eat out almost every day for lunch, but my choices are salads and meat, or a cheese dish. Sometimes soup and salad. I try to log my daily food here, but most days I can't find the time. You may need to make the time if you are having problems sticking to what you know is the right way to eat. I always think of veggies and meats even when ordering out. Delivery can be a burger without the bun, and a salad. If it's pizza, I eat only the toppings and order a salad as well. Or grilled chicken or a steak with a salad, and refuse the potato and roll. It's always the choices that mess you up, not eating out or delivery.  One thing many people don't realize is you have to chew well forever, because large bites not well chewed can stretch your stoma, and then you may have trouble feeling full.  If at any point after my protein I don't feel satisfied I just load up on veggies or salad until I am either tired of eating, or full! If you leave the sweets alone for a few days, you will like eating other foods more than you do now. Try to actively search out foods that seem like you'd like them, and try them. Look for meats and cheese, and any veggie that isn't a carb, like broccoli, cabbage, green beans, greens, brussel sprouts, tomatoes, onions, kale, cauliflower, mushrooms, cucumbers, peppers of any kind, asparagus, snow peas, eggplant, okra, spaghetti squash, celery, to name some . Add cheese sauces or spices for a different taste.  Stir-fry is good and you can use Japanese or Chinese sauces. Dipping raw veggies in a low cal Ranch can be very good. This is important, the same way having the original surgery was important. So think through what you need to do, and what you want. You are only a little off track, and can get back to what you need.

Thanks all for the tips... and reminders.. its what I needed. :) I have been doing better the last few days. I cut out most carbs and feel better overall. I lost 2 lbs and hope I am on my wayh again. I don't need to loose much, I am never going to look like a supermodel but I know I can look a bit better. I know I can do it... I just need to get back in the game. I went to the gym and the days I cant I have been doing 30 minutes of Wii Fit for what it is worth. I have added more fruit to my diet since I can't stand raw veggies except for carrots.  Thank you all!
