Somehow straightening my mind out doesn't remind me to have a SF Popcicle...But nexttime...Maybe i'll give that a try. LOL.  For all the heartaches and troubles and being on mushy foods, your numbers are really good! Keep up the good work. If you get too tired or lazy feeling, add another protein shake to that but otherwise...It really looks good to me..I'm not expert but you have my opinion..LOL

Hello!

I know my eating was pretty bad today. I just came home from a week at the beach (vacation). I thought I did fairly well there, but according to my scales I'm up alot. I've read the "grads" board several times today and it's helped me alot. My goal is to post my daily eating here. I truly believe accountability is very helpful. Thinking about Friday Weigh In, too.

A real grazing day! I did exercise at the gym doing a 60 minute floor aerobics class. I did journal everything. I did drink alot of water I did take all my vitamins on time. I did get encouragement from reading this "Grads" board. We were w/o air conditioning all day, we got it fixed this evening. 103 degree temps I'm glad to be home from vacation and nose-to-the-grindstone doing the right and best things to get myself on track. You guys, I'm really struggling, I'm wanting to eat all day. RNY Dec. 1, 2005 Goal wt: 124 - 128  I'm 5'2" Lowest wt, since GBP 133 Today's wt. 145 Only last week I was 138 I'm pretty bummed-out.

Hey, don't be bummed or down about a couple of pounds gained while on vacation. You probably indulged in salty stuff too much (that vacation food is usually loaded with it) it's all water and it won't take much to get rid of it.  The sugar free candy and crackers is the only thing I saw that jump off the page at me and even those are nothing to write home about. Remember before WLS and how a whole BAG of regular candy was the typical "snack"...You're gonna turn it around and head that vessel in the right direction before the end of the week and you'll be whistling a different tune completely!  See ya

Textured Vegetable Protein. I found it first at the health food store but stumbled on it at my local Mexican Market. The girls at work (of latin heritage) tell me it's used to make vegetarian Ceviche so you might try several places. a quarter cup of it is 12 grams of protein and it can go either way. On sweet stuff or savory. I know Carla uses it on NSA Ice Cream. I put it on yogurt or it makes a really mean veggie chili with nothing more than black bean and corn salsa added..alittle chees and it's lunch...yum.

Appt. went pretty well.  Being sent to the cardiologist for a workup after my almost-blackout the other day (maybe I shouldn't have mentioned it...).  The scale at that office was 242 on 5/12 and was 226 on 6/9 (it's interesting, but I still use my own for "official" weigh-ins). The free weights are def. making a difference.. I can feel the good kind of soreness the next day.  This was def. a good idea to bring them into play. And yeah, still just jumping for joy over my 15 minute jog yesterday.  I was itching to do it again all day!  Who knows.. I might just do it today, even though today is elliptical day (which I think really has helped me with the jogging in terms of endurance). I checked my bio-impedance yesterday.  Now, I know it's not a totally accurate measurement of success, but it's still going down.   4/11 it was 41.8.  Last week was 40.6.  Yesterday was 39.5.  One of the trainers yesterday said that I was doing so well, I should start training people myself.  A fat trainer?  Yeah, right. Anyway, onto food. Twisted protein bar (these are becoming a habit for 3am feedings..) fage single container (5.3oz I think) 1/4 Ka****omato Garlic Cheese pizza 1c oikos jello s/f rice pudding (sugar dropped -- icky) protein shake grilled chicken fillet w/ hot wing sauce 1c oikos 1100 cals  22.25g fat  91.25g carbs  134g protein  6g fiber Treadmill work: 20 min jogging (15 at once!  Woo!), 7 walking 30 min free weight work

YOu get a good fair amount of food in for those calories! And the protein number just fairly ROCKS..I just wonder what the blacking out was...You're eating every couple of hours and be sure to have a snack right after workouts and all...I have hypoglycemia so I'm eating a protein snack every two hours to keep my blood sugars from dumping down to the basement on me. Last night, the meatloaf had too much "filler" and so my blood sugar after an hour was a bit low. I felt shakey..So I had a single piece of sf candy and that got me to bedtime. Hard to feel weak when you're sleeping...LOL Good day for you. Keep us posted on what the doctor says!
