5 day pouch and bad tummy
Technically, it's too early on day 1 to have diarrhea based on that day's choices. Even though our plumbing is a bit different, it still takes time to process what you had to eat prior. There are occasions when things get pushed through faster.. but it does take time.
Here's an example. And hey, I know it's gross, and it's related to my two-year old's diaper, who hasn't had surgery, but just go with it.
Kaitlin had corn on Monday. I don't see it until Wednesday. It took her 2 days to process it through her body.
Now assume it takes us 1/2 of the time to go through the same process.. a full day before the previous day's food is out. Does that make sense? Maybe? Kinda? Not at all? (Hey, I'm tired. I have a child that still gets up frequently in the middle of the night!)
But, as was stated on another board -- liquids in == liquids out. Plus, if you are sensitive to lactose, this could cause some issues.
Milk could do that but it wouldn't cause it immediately. I mean, I'm lactose intolerate too but it takes about a half day for it to materialize like that...Usually a belly ache and THEN diarrhea..
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
