Let me start by saying the weather is absolutely gorgeous here in California. What my grandfather used to call a Chamber of Commerce day...For sure. So we were out and about even though I did work a half day today.  breakfast: malto meal, TVP, soy milk and coffee Snack: 1 oz cheese stick, 2 oz beef jerky, 1/4 cup roasted green peas Lunch: A Huge chicken taco salad in a tortilla I ate about 2 cups of salad (really over stuffed myself...and ate too fast too) had to take a nap after that.  Snack: 1 sobe living drink  Dinner: 6 oz of really good top sirloin steak grilled and 1/4 (scant) mashed potatoes Totals for the day:  Calories; 1663 Fat: 46 Carbs: 142 Protein: A WHAPPING 175! Wow. Broke my own record, I think.. How did everyone else do on this great Saturday?

I'll join in. Quick little info 'bout myself.  Had surgery 8.3.04.. lost from 320 - 197 and got pregnant 13 mo out.  Had *horrific* pregnancy.. was in bed 90% of the time, and gained 60lbs.  Lost 30 instantly, was working on last 30 when I got pregnant with our son.  Gained 60 again (another really bad pregnancy), lost 20 instantly and have now officially gotten back down to my pre-baby #2 weight.  Daniel will be 4 months old on June 12th.  So if you do the math, I've lost more than 40 lbs in less than 4 months. I know the advantage of keeping track of everything.  I post accountability on the post-op pregnancy board and am starting another thread somewhere else.  So the more info I can get on my eating, the more support.. the better. So here's yesterday. Flaxseed muffin 1c coffee w/ ff moo banana cream dessert protein drink -- not bad either 1c fage south beach cheese pizza 1 2/3 link chicken garlic sausage 1c fage 1154 cals  34.27g fat  79.75g carbs  138.32g protein  16g fiber 30 min hard core elliptical, 20 min lower body weight machines

Thanks Wanda It's so nice to know that people support our military.  He tells me how strangers come over to him and thank him or shake his hand (while in uniform) ...and I could just fall to the ground and cry when he tells me these things because I worry so much and it's just so nice to know that he feels that his decision to join is appreciated...and that alone gives me hope that' he'll be okay because HE feels the love...so thank you! Hugs and blessings back at ya!

We have a couple of friends who have been over a couple of times. The bad news is greatly exaggerated but I will keep your son in my prayers..That never hurt at all.  Don't you love the soy nuts? crunchy snacks always seem to satisfy so much..Actually, the protein number isn't bad. i might add a shake before bed but it's all good.  Enjoy the baby boy!

I measured out a serving of the soy nuts and I thought...yeah right...that's not going to do anything for me...I hadn't tried the roasted ones...They were really good. I couldn't eat a serving! I was so full!  That's why i didn't have a protein drink...Couldn't fit  one that late...and had to take more flipping vitamins on an empty tummy...The vita and water usually fill me up late at night these days... Yeah...it's nice to have family dinners with us all here lately!  What a joy!  They make me feel so old...But some things never change...I thought it would be different now that he's been gone a year...but he came home and the mom-instinct kicked right back in and it's like he never left! LOL  I'm probably driving him crazy with my "put a coaster under that drink" and "are these your dirty socks?"  LOL  And many many more!  LOL Still babies no matter how old they get...
