And the numbers show you're doing it! Toning can be stressful cuz that silly number on the scale goes up...Hard to wrap your head around that sometimes.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Well, I am doing.....

last week 154

this week 155

I am maintaining, which is good. This is the longest time I have been able to maintain a weight loss of any amount in my life. This wls tool is the best.

I sure get you there! Before WLS a goal was just that. A point in time; on the scale; a size of clothing...As soon as you hit that "goal" you feel like you've reached that point. And then you head off in another direction. But with WLS, the goal is to maintain your weight...High, low, medium...The goal is maintenance..This was and is a hard fact to wrap my head around. If I didn't make it to that "pie-in-the-sky" goal...my task was to maintain where I landed. Easier said than done!

I have to be aware that the one pound either way is okay...Not something to stress over. Hopefully I'm doing that but it's a reality check every day. You're doing really well. We're all doing really well...It's a personal race so we're all winners.

Howdy!

I ulitmate goal after my vacation is to post each day on what I have eaten and focus more on Friday Weigh In.. My night-snacking has been pretty bad this past week. I'll be away from my computer June 1st - 7th. Boy, I'll miss getting my daily encouragement from you Grads! I'll be at the beach all week, hope to have plenty of relax time to focus on my eating, exercise and goals and come back home totally renewed. According to the  weather forecast North Carolina beaches are supposed to have thunderstorms all week. Think of me and my famly.

Well, you have a good time down there on the beach. Don't lay around too much and you'll work off that late night snacking...But get a tan, of course. I sure need a tan. I look like I live in Alaska. There's nothing wrong with that but when you live in California, people expect you to have darker skin...LOL We'll keep the light on for you!

Again...Jealousy here. Maintenance, for me, is really hard mental work. I'm too afraid that scale will go up and I won't be able to control it. Fear of failure, I guess..But we're here to help and support. You have it down pat!

Oh, believe me, I have a range on PMS week - I go up 4 pounds, then during my period, I go down 6 (seeing 150 on the scale makes me nervous).  I find as long as I stay in that range, I'm comfortable - mentally and physically.  Sometimes maintenance can be mental work, I totally agree with you.  I think I've finally found some balance and perspective, and they've worked wonders.  Give it some time!  You'll find what you need.
