What do YOU do about the skin?

Ok folks! For me it's getting warm enough for short and short sleved shirts. Thing is.. I've got the jiggles. I've got funny flappy skin at my arms and thighs driving me nuts! When I'm dresed up I use a shawl, my cool self made arm cover thingies, a shrug or somthing- but in a tank top? I'm currently layering thin shirts, or my hubbys dragon shirts- but I'm starting to wonder if I should just sport my skin. I'm HOT! I'm toasty and sweaty I want to wear as little as possible and not think about the jiggle. Anyone? What do YOU do?

I just flap in the breeze with my tank top and shorts on. Really. I couldn't imagine a 3/4 sleeve shirt in 100 degrees here in TX so I have adapted the mentality if you don't want to see it - don't look at me.  Plus what do I care about people and offending their sensitive little eyes anyhow? If you want perfection here's five bucks - go by a computer enhanced magazine to look at. I say we start a revolution and instead of burning bras like they did in the 70's we former MO folk start burning long sleeves! (Except in the winter when we're sooooo cold from losing hundred pound jackets!!) Jen

My arms and legs are my least favorite areas too.  For a while I wore 3/4 length sleeves to hide the jiggles and fat elbows....I think when we stand in front of a mirror and hold out our arms, OF COURSE we are gonna see the most unflattering bat wingie thingies!  DON'T do that!  I still won't wear shorts though...I never did and I never will.  (Even though I have cankles...I'll at least least wear capris) People will not notice your flaws if you do not contantly point them out or do things like hold your arms out from your side and shake them in their face! LOL  So...you learn to wave to people with your arms tucked tightly at your sides and do a nice Miss Amaerica Pagent wave...It's all in the wrist action...LOL Do not let your arms jiggle and no one will be the wiser!  It took me a few years to get my arms and legs to tighten up a little better and I have a long way to go to get them even firmer...but I'm not going to stop enjoying myself because I'm afraid of jigglies...Go out and look at everyone's arms...You will be amazed how may people have loose wavy arms too.  I know I was shocked when I started looking closer. I never noticed...And they don't notice either! The legs have always been my problem and reason for self loathing...so that's gonna take a while longer for me to deal with...Put on a tank top and just get on out there!  Be free...You will still look HOT but not the sweaty kinda hot...

I cuss at mine all the time. I was petting my son's bassett hound the other night and it felt just like my legs. But I let 'em flop around in the summer time. I'm sitting here in a sleeveless top right now, all wrinkled up like a prune. Not many of us have perfect bodies. You should be proud of your weight loss and wear what you like.

In Janunary I did a "fastest body makeover" plan I found on MSN (link/info on my profile)... it really improved my arms to a point I felt comfortable wearing sleeveles tops/shirts... I look for ones that flatter and draw attention away from my arms - bright prints, things that tie up around the neck, one shoulder tops... I feel my collarbone/neck area is nice so I try and bring attention there as well.  At this point I know my arms are the best I can get them so I say f*it... if people look they look, I always look at other peoples arms and there is plently of flab and wiggle out there!

Thanks so much for the feedback ladies!  Ya'll are great inspiration for me.  It's just getting too dern hot out to go covering up my arms. Plus, I also love my collorbone and sholders.. seems a shame to cover those up just 'cause of a little (well ok a lot) of saggage. Much kisses and hugs! You rock, the whole lot of you!

Lift Heavy Weights!!! It helps so much. I swear by it. I bought a book called "The Female Body Sculpting Bilbe" and really followed it paying special attention to my biceps and triceps and lifting to "failure" to where you cannot lift that weight one more time and it BUILDS sexy muscle!  I thought I'd need all kinds of arm and thigh lifts when my weight came off but I'm just getting the TT and BL so far. Good luck...oh yeah... and once you've put a LOT of effort into body sculpting and working out really hard at the gym feel free to let it all hang out to your hearts content. I do and it's a little loose but I'm pretty proud of the work I've done on my formerly flappy arms.
I wear tank tops. My arms arent too bad but there is extra skin there. I just workout a bunch to tone everything up so you notice my muscles before the skin. I also wear shorts. I just made sure they were long enough so you didnt see my leg folds. I cant wear short shorts (wouldnt if I could, thats just not a cute look) but I can go to mid thigh and they look fine. I was sooooo stressed about getting shorts. Just go into the store and try em on and you will see that they dont look nearly as bad as you think they will. You could wear the short capris, pedal pushers is the name I think but they stop at the knee. Noone knows where youve been, your a success so sport that skin!!! Hey, Im rhyming. Yay for me. Not bad for early in the morning.

I wear the tank tops and just try not to flap my arms around .  I also wear shorts, about midthigh length and just try not to run or anything .   Hey, I have lost 200+ pounds...I look good and I know it...whether or not anyone else can tell or not, lol!  Anyway, be proud of how far you have come and don't worry about it!  We ALL look good and have come so very very far, flaunt what you got, be proud of it!  It is a testament of where you have been, I say
