The results are in.

I had my colonoscopy, and endoscopy recently. For the over-50 crowd, yes, you'll be having these treats, too! Results are all in, everything looks great. No cancer. My pouch is still around 3-4 oz. and the stoma about the size of a nickle. I'm almost 3 yrs out, the stoma started out at around the size of a dime. Any stretching usually comes from eating huge bites and not chewing well, and adding drinking to food not well chewed, and you get a stretched stoma. So chew well, and you will probably get to keep decent restriction for life.  I just thought I'd mention this since I don't think many people may know it.

I'm not too far from 50 and my doctor will make me do that too. I am really dreading it. Thanks for the reminder about chewing & drinking. I hope I can say the same things when I'm 3 years out.

Glad all went well for you. I recently had my second colonoscopy done, worse part for me as always is the prep YUK! Doesn't it feels good to know everything is normal ?
