Can anyone help me please, my panni was denied.

BCBS of Tx denied my panni. (Surgery was already done and I'm stuck with a big bill)They said it wasn't "Medically Necessary". Does anyone have a good appeal letter i can i can send them. Thank you in advance:)

You went ahead witih the surgery without the approval? They don't have to do a retro and most of the time will not do a retro authorizatoin. You can check out the plastic surgery forum. What does your policy say are the medical necessity requirements? You should be able to call and ask them to look that up, or check online. My BCBS of TN has it online about what they will cover/not cover.
