It seems my worst days for snacking are the ones where I don't have anything to do. Must keep my hands busy, I guess. Either work or sleep but STAY OUT OF THE FRIDGE!  I'm glad you got your computer back up and running. I'm thinking about saving my files today cuz that's the heartbreak of when the computer goes south...I saved all my genealogy files on the computer and then POW...they're gone. Yesterday I actually got a photo of my great great grandmother from another researcher and I sure don't want to lose that. I'll print me out a good clean copy and then save the whole group of files to a disk...

Wow...Great day for you. Fat was low and carbs were really good...Protein good too. You did awesome on your stuff Sunday.  I started doing my mother's "Cool Pettengill Bellinger Ladson Farrow" Michigan lines back in 1993, mostly using the free sites: rootsweb.com and usgenweb.com..Even hit the worldgenweb.com for some but didn't find much. I left alot of messeges and kept the same email address since then. Each time I'd hit a brickwall on one surname, I'd switch to another surname, leaving messages, even going into my husband's name and doing my ex-husband's name (for my daughter). Then I got hooked big time on ancestry.com and now I research for friends and stuff. I actually pay big money ($179 a year) on ancestry.com because I had their one month free and couldn't stop. LOL. We're having my father's family reunion (Keister, Doherty, Wenzel) in July and I'm the head family historian for that (mostly cuz I found some interesting facts that no one knew and actually debunked some family myths over the years).  I was co-historian for my husband's family reunion in 2003 for all the children of Ole B Nelson The Nelson Eight of Bode Iowa. Just a few months ago I got an email from a woman that turned out to be an old girl friend of my husband's from 1967..If there are fruits and nuts in anyone's family tree, I specialize in finding those. LOL My favorite site right now is ancestry.com. I have more than four family trees on that site (Zeeve, Keister, Nelson, Krejci, Cool, Wenzel). My ex-husband was complaining cuz when he'd type in his surname (and it's very unusual) my name was coming up all over the place...LOL.
