Try using apple sauce ,, Get  4 of  the individual  cups ( 4 oz )  line em up and  see how many of em you can down in 3-4 min.   the first 1 will go down smooth just keep going till you hit the wall !

I was thinking ricotta cheese would work just as well...for myself, I put sugar free preserves in my cottage cheese or apple sauce...Works pretty good for me. Or I guess if you don't like the sweet, you could do chunky salsa...
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

have you ever tried whipped cottage cheese?? its much smoother and the only one that passes my lips. friendship makes one and i think also axelrod. the smoother texture is so much easier for me, regular cottage cheese gags me.  also, im not too sure about this test you are doing, but maybe you can mix a little greek yogurt into the cottage cheese.  its high protein and will make the testure even smoother. good luck, jacki

I wouldnt suggest applesauce, the consistancey is wrong. Make some oatmeal ... same'ish consistancy of cottage cheese. That will do it.. :)

I like cottage cheese, but . . . I really like it w/ a little dry sf jello mixed in, and if I have it on hand, just a dollop of lt. or sf whipped topping.  Makes it taste totally different from regular cottage cheese, and it shouldn't affect the outcome.  (However, if you really hate cc, maybe nothing will help.)

Always,
Jo

My surgeon says to use chicken breast instead as it can't flow out as quickly as any of the other suggestions you've received. Same premise - just harder to inhale.   Personally, I can't stand that full feeling so the pain isn't worth finding out what size my pouch is.  Good luck!
