When am I a "graduate"?

I'm 9 months post-op tomorrow. I am 2.2 pounds from my PERSONAL goal (my surgeon doesn't believe in scale goals and does not give or support them - so I don't have a goal from him).  I am still losing over a pound a week, so I'm sure I'll meet my personal goal soon. At 5'5, I have ALREADY been within a "normal" BMI range since 150.   So my question is... when am I am WLS "graduate"?  When I reach my personal goal?  When I got into "normal" BMI range?  When I am a year post-op?   Is this a stupid question?

I think the standard used to be when you'd hit one year post-op, but it seems to be pretty flexible these days.

According to the Message Board Purpose up there, it's when you're one year post-op. I started posting here a month or so before I was a year out, and nobody hollered at me. I was still in need of a lot of support at that time, and most of the posts on the RNY board didn't apply to me anymore. I guess it just depends on where you are personally, whether or not you're a graduate.
