Accountability - What did you eat Sunday?
Okay, so I couldn't make it past the kitchen and headed back to the office...Today has been really good and bad. I was forced to drink more water and got my protein in and not very many calories. I bought 100 calorie popcorn packs (eating the three servings myself just can't be good).
So rather than call Carla in from her playing outside. Here is my accountabiltiy:
Breakfast: Oatmeal (one packet) 2 servings of TVP, 1 serving of soy milk and coffee.
Second breakfast: 3 oz of steak on an egg skillet. 2 large eggs and some home fried potatoes (about a half cup) and some cheese, figure 1 oz.
Lunch: yikes. Nothing. I had water and didn't eat.
Snack: I had a serving of SF Chocolate covered toffee pieces and a serving of SF Chocolate Malt Balls. Then I RAN from the kitchen and the snack cabinet cuz I needed to catch some control really quick and came in here till dinner was ready
Dinner: 5 oz of broiled chicken breast, 1/3 cup home made mashed potatoes and 8 slices of canned beets.
Totals for the day:
Calories; 1567
Fat: 68
Carbs: 134
Protein: 124
I think I could do with a snack later but not sure what and I want it to be a good one...WITH PROTEIN but what? When I can't decide, I opt for nothing...Good option.

Well I had a pretty good day, but was hungry too for some reason.

I think your totals are pretty good for Saturday. I just love wasabi peas. I also like just the roasted adn salted ones. They're green so they "LOOK" healthy but they crunch like beer nuts...Yumo!

Wow...Carla has been gone a while...Hopefully it was a last minute fun trip and she's been busy enjoying herself. I've been busy with life myself...so I know how easy it is to just let things go for a bit. I needed that break too...I was feeling overwhelmed with food and eating and I just didn't want to work so hard. I'm glad I took a break...I feel refreshed again. I'm not keeping track all day...Just once a day when I add my stuff up...and whatever it is...IT IS! I did this for 4 years and I got the rest of my life...so I might as well not make eating, journaling, counting calories, protein, fats and carbs...such a chore...ALL DAY. I can't do that anymore...I felt more out of control being desperately overwhelmed. I have always made decent choices and I have to trust myself again. I think gaining over christmas time really freaked me out even though I've had it under control for a while now...
B: Coffee w/soymilk and 2 oz. protein powder
L: 2.5 ounces Pork Carnitas, grilled between 2 low carb tortilla wraps

Normally, I would be keeping track all day and adding calories because I would have seen I was lower than I like to be...Thus, I would have ate a little more if I knew I had calories to spare...Not doing that anymore! I'm eating what feels right...Who knows? Monday, I might eat 1600 calories...So be it. I'm gonna see how this goes...
I have a feeling Carla's computer is giving her fits. I try not to obsess over the numbers and journaling my food so when I pack my lunches in the morning, I put in what I have packed and then remove anything I didn't actually eat. Usually, my counts are right around 1000 for breakfast through lunch and both snacks. If dinner is low too then I can add a dessert...I like that.
