anyone try weigh****chers?
I am three years out, and have experienced a bit of regain. At my annual check-up with my surgeon, I asked if Weigh****chers would be recommended. Both the dietician and surgeon thought it would be a great idea, to serve both as a source of support and for accountability. I just joined earlier this week. With a bit of extra support, I hope to be rid of these extra pounds by mid-summer! I will have to modify the plan slightly to allow for our protein rich diet, but it should help me stay clear of sugars and the wrong kind of carbohydrates.
I say good luck to all of us out here trying to retake control of ourselves! This website has been a tremendous help to me, but I also need to face the scale a bit more publicly to keep myself in line. This is just one more step in the journey to learn how to maintain a healthier lifestyle. If we didn't have issues with food, we wouldn't have found ourselves here in the first place.
