That is so very true.. My bad time is night at when I get home before dinner... I started eating a snack (planned) during that time just to stop the crazy munchie attack.. weigh to go Becky Carla

NO munchies for me last night...I'm clean. I drank a protein shake with a banana and went to bed...Like a good girl. Tonight, however... I have a dinner date with my boss who is leaving the office. I won't drink (cuz I'm driving) but I may have something more when I get home cuz they won't have anything yummy that I can eat at the restaurant (sugar free? No way!)  Thanks for keeping us honest, Carla.

Hi Carla I have been doing really bad lately.  I don't know if you remember me, but I was posting my intake with you back in March.  I did the pouch test and had really good results and continued to do well.  But, my birthday came at the end of March and i had cake, a lot of cake...... too much cake.  And that set me off and for the whole month of April, I did horribly!!!! So, now, TODAY, i am starting anew!   Anyhow, just wanted to let u know that and that i will start posting my intake again in order to be accountable. Thanks!!!! Have a great day.

Yes I do remember you.. I am a bit anal with things and keep track of names and goals so I stear the right direction with folks.. everyone has such different journeys it gets tough to always remember them all.   Welcome aboard mattie... you can do it. Carla

I started on the NuvaRing on Saturday.  Monday and Tuesday I seemed to be hungry.  More than usual.  I ate a splenda sweetened chocolate cupcake Monday night.  OH It was good, but not worth the pain I felt afterward.  That is SO not like me.  I can count on one hand the number of times in a year that I've done something like that...  Then yesterday it seemed like I wanted EVERY thing!  I ate some protein chips AND 2 squares of SF Valor.  But Lord it drove me crazy!  I am better today; under control.  Not being bothered by that little whisper in my ear saying "You need something to eat" when I was full in the first place!!!  Yikes! I think it was the Nuvaring or hormones or something!

I bet it is.. It may take a bit to make the adjustment to the hormones its pumping into you.  just stay strong.. set up some low fat munchies like celery and go for that when the mood gets to strong.  Hopefully it will pass quickly and you will be back on board with your regular habits. Carla

Oh please I start snacking as soon as I walked into the house from work.   I do not get it, I am good all day at work but as soon as I get home I am grabbing anything that is not nailed down and eating it.  I really believe it is the accessibility of the food. At work I have what I bring for breakfast, lunch and protein shakes, BUT at home the cabinets and Frig are full.    My husband and the dogs have a worried look that they might be next to be eaten.

Wow laura.. that late night munchie monster has a firm hold on you.  What can we do..  Go for a walk when you feel the urge, pet the dog.. I didnt say eat it.. get frisky with hubby, puts some locks on the cabnets.. dont buy the bad stuff.. hubby doesnt need it anyway.  I will keep thinking.. everyone chime in with some ideas. We are all here for you.. we can beat the munchie monster.. Carla

Late night snacking is my biggest problem. How insightful for us to post about this. I just returned home from a few days out of town, looking so forward to getting back to "accountabilty" and "Friday Weigh in" and getting the help I need for late night snacking, I would love to hit my goal weight. Did you see I got my picture up?  Kathy

Yes I did.. well hello.. thats a great pic too.. i need to update mine as well.. its a year old and 30 pounds heavier than I am now..lol.. Late night I think is all of our little evil demons.  We gotta get control or we could find ourself unhappy with the number on the scale.  Get tough.. stay tough and back away from the grub... you can do it.   Welcome home..
