I've been gone but now I am back!!!
Good morning everyone! Ok, I have been "off the wagon" since around the end of March, and ALL of April and I am ashamed to say that but it is true.
So, that said, today being May 1st, I am going to start again and get back to basics etc. I may even do the 5 day pouch test again next Monday.........
I was doing so well and then I got sick at the end of March. I did NOT eat much of anything when I was sick and I had broken my plateau (which for me is that i cannot get down past 155). But then when I started to feel better, I started eating and eating and eating and YIKES....I got back to 165!!!! Today I weighed and I am around 160 so maybe I can start again. I did start going back to the gym so we shall see where that goes......
Anyhow, I just wanted to say hi to everyone!

Lorri, I'm here with you......I seriously need to regroup and get my head on straight, I've been extra busy and not taking time for myself. Allowing emotions to play into my day and I'm up 4 lbs in just 1 week.
I am seriously considering the 5 day pouch test again, I just did it but didn't fulfil the program. My hubby went back to work today for 7 days, I'm ditching the crap in the house and going back to my protein shakes. I do so much better when I do them, not sure why I allow myself to stray.

Well, when I go to the gym, first I do cardio for 30 min. That can be anything you want to do that gets your heart rate up.....for me, I do the treadmill, but you could do that or take a class, ride a stationary bike etc.
Then, i do weight training. I am trying to build up how many days I do go to the gym but for now, i am only making it twice a week, which i know is not nearly enough but I figure it is better than nothing. I do 3 sets of 12 repitions on each machine and I work arms, abs, lower back and legs.
I think it is best to find something you are comfortable with and go from there.....then after a while, you can change up your routine based on your growing strength and endurance.
You CAN do it though, if I can do it, anyone can do it!!!!

Thanks for responding. That is what I usually do at the gym. So I guess I'm ok. What do you normally eat in a day? I eat a bagel for breakfast, 2 cups of coffee with equal, lunch I usually skip, or I eat a special k bar, dinner I eat whatever I am cooking for the family. CHicken, noodles and veggie. For snack I eat a whole bag of light microwave popcorn. I dont drink water and I only drink 1 can of diet orange all day.

Thanks!! I see you had your surgery the same year I did! How are you doing with things?
I was thinking about a revision, but I am not too sure now if I should. I got down to 119 and then went back to 175!!!! I hover around 155 to 160 now and I don't like it at all. I want to get down to 125 again, because I was always thin before having my children.
