Gnu Foods = Colon Cleansing
A friend told me about the Gnu Foods fiber bars - they each have almost 50% of the recommended daily fiber. I eat TONS of Fiber One bars. Here is a comparison:
Fiber One: 140 calories, 9 grams fiber, 10 grams sugar, 2 grams protein
Gnu: 130-150 calories, 12 grams fiber, 7-8 grams sugar, 3-5 grams protein
They have five flavors on their web site. They're a little pricey. I ordered boxes of all five flavors (25 bars with shipping was about $46.00). Has anybody else tried these? I'm thinking I'll like the chocolate the best.

I really like the cinnamon raisin ones. I read about these a few months ago and everyone raved about the chocolate one. I like how moist they are and you can keep them in the fridge and they don't become hard as bricks. you can get them at vitamin shoppe too :)

These are amazing. True, they do accomplish the "desired effect" but they are so delicious - and filling, since they have so much fiber in them. I only eat one every other week or so - and they keep moist for a long time. I love all the flavors.
