Silly but true...
Start Weight - 263
Current Weight 135 and making it work for ME !
You're worse off than I have been but I pulled myself up by my bootstraps and got going in the RIGHT direction. YOU know you need to put on a couple pounds...YOU know this is unhealthy. I just recently discovered that it's life threatening. You didn't lose weight with WLS to threaten your life?
I have the same problem with the numbers going up but someone at a support group meeting told me "Just gain 5 pounds. Five pounds should be okay. And then maintain there and see how you feel. If you don't like it, five pounds is easy enough to lose." I have successfully increased my intake and calories (AND PROTEIN) so that I gained from 118 to 121.0. That's a major breakthrough for me.
To tone up you need to increase your calories or you'll get sick. Start with gaining one single pound. Log your food and keep track of it like we do on the accountabilty thread. I shoot for 2000 to 2300 calories a day. Not empty calories (cuz any idiot can add candy and crap and gain weight) but good stuff, good carbs..I don't make the 2000 each day but I'm just about got a handle on this maintaining thing...i've been 121-122 since June of last year..With a momentary dip down to 116 earlier this year.
