Hello all.. so I spent the day at the Ren Faire.  Lots of fun to be had except for the eating part... not so good.  I choice steak on a stake thinking well that will work and it got stuck in the old grouchy pouch.  Well I tried to get through it and finally took a drink of something.. ut oh not a good thing.  No bathroom no place to go.. you got it.. behind a tree.. than I finally found a bathroom and got that bad stuff out and I was good to go.. needless to say.. wasnt in much of a mood to eat after that.. so i ate a protein bar.  it's 7 now and I put down some chili but I am not sure I will get that in or my ice cream for the night.  but I will try.. low day and lots of walking.. lol Hope you all are having a good day. Here was my day IF I COMPLETE IT... lol Breakfast:

Carla I'm sorry you got sick at ther faire...I had similar happen to me while in a rest. right after WLS...I was going to ladies room because I knew I was going to get sick, talk about embarrassing on my way I slipped on water on the floor and all the waiters stood in a circle around me just looking...I got up and thought I need to get out of this place immediately...told hubby I would wait outside as I was having sweats and right in front of the rest. I threw up in their beautiful flower bed, I wanted to die that day. Felt so much better after I did it though...LOL I totally forgot about that until I read you encounter today. Eat that ice cream, you deserve it!! Today I felt hunger for first time in a long time...

Oh my! I wish I couldn't Identify with that steak deal but I sure can. No place to go but it has to come out.  Today was a really weird day. i guess I paid for the high calories yesterday with today's totals. It's after 10 and I'm not hungry at all but after a long day I really needed that third bottle of water. I'll sleep well tonight. We did a rescue adoption on a hermit crab and met at Cajon pass to do the switch. Nice little Purple Pincher in a painted shell. He's getting used to having a community right now after being an only crab for two years. He'll be fine. The regulars are doing their welcome howdys right now...He'll be fine so long as Arnold loves him, and Arnold should have no problem since this guy is smaller and a male. I think Arnold is really a girl (cuz she's Queen of that tank, or King. Not too sure).  Breakfast: 3 egg omelet, ortega chili peppers and swiss cheese, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 3 cups of coffee Snack: Mmmm. No snack, water only. 24 oz Lunch: 1 Chili Lime Chicken Patty, fried with 1 oz cheese stick on a salad of 1 cup lettuce and 7 spinach leaves and zesty non-fat italian dressing.  Snack: 1/8 cup Dark chocolate covered coffee beans, 24 oz of water before that Dinner: 5 oz (has to be that much, cuz I believe the whole thing was 10 ounces..>one half of a Huge meal. 1/4 cup of creamy mashed potatoes with yummy gravy, a bite of veggys and all the solids from beef vegetable soup...Yum.  Dessert: another 24 oz container of water...I'm parched.  Totals for today: Calories; 1702 Fat: 82 Carb: 120 Protein: 135 No ice cream tonight but I make darn sure I don't take more than a half cup of that stuff! I measure out the milk and put just enough ice cream to come up to 1-1/2 cups in the measuring cup...Yup, I'm anal...I can't eat too much of that. I'm not sure why. Maybe the sugar alcohols?  I need sleep. I'm never up this late...One more check on our new guy and off to bed with me.

We decided to name him Meatloaf...Thought that was cute. He's doing fine and the other "children" are reasonably well adjusted so they're all playing nice. He went shell shopping all night long and parked in the food dish for several hours...I even found him hiding this morning in one of the cabanas with three other guys. Fits right in.

Another busy day in the sun...Good for me...Went to a craft fair with the residents at the nursing home where I work...fun fun fun.  B Coffee Cream and Splenda      Atkins bar ( No dumping) L Beef Jerky 4 oz S 1/4 C special K no milk D 1 bite rottisserie chicken breast      lost appetite late night snack coffee cream and slenda bite of sugar free banana bread ..stopped after a bite bad day for me back on track today will get more protein

Hi, Carla... So sorry to hear about your Ren Faire experience!  Horrible thing...when food gets stuck. I got the results of my April Labs, which showed improvement in my potassium; only 1 pill now. My Vit A is still low...better, but low...so I have to add another; that makes 4 caps/day...so I keep eating a lot of Vit A rich foods.  NUT increased my protein to 75-80g/day, based on results of the pre-albumin test.... and life goes on!  I'm increasing the calories and adding more dense foods, which is working for me... so Thanx!   Ro B: whole wheat waffle w/ SF pancake syrup, 2/3 oz Special K Protein Plus cereal, 1/2 NF yogurt, 1/2 banana L: 4 oz tuna salad, slice whole wheat bread, veggie salad w/ chickpeas + Wish-Bone French, 1/2 c bean + wheat pasta soup, Babybel Light, 1/2 oz pumperknickle pretzels D: 2 oz pork tenderloin, 1 1/2 oz brown rice, 2 oz carrots, 1 oz mushrooms S: 8 oz artichokes, 2/3 oz sesame sticks + pumpkin seeds Today's Calories: 1329 Fats: 37, Carbs: 182, Protein: 81 Weekly Average: 1392 Fats: 49, Carbs: 187, Protein: 76 April's Average: 1264 Fat: 45, Carbs: 162, Protein: 70
